- Mute accounts that are triggering your anxiety. Some people mean well, others cope by putting all their anxieties online; that's them. You can mute them if their content is stressing you out. YOU need to be more discerning of what you ingest online and offline.

- Counter your 'screens' anxiety w/mindless things:
- Watch a favorite series or movie, new or as a repeat.
- Engage in mindless screen time like watching reality TV shows, ridiculously bad movies or videos, or even "How To" videos for something you'll never use

Organize.

Organize your home, closet, kitchen, bookshelf, perfumes, lotions, pantry, refrigerator, phone/laptop icons or apps...organize an area of your home that's been needing your attention for a while. It'll make you feel better in ways you couldn't imagine.

Get creative.

It's proven that a creative undertaking can help reduce anxiety. Get on YouTube and learn how to upcycle your old clothes, magazines even bottles & containers or how to organize your shoes, jewelry etc

The point is to do something using your hands.

#CoronaCareKE
Speaking of using your hands, paint, color an image, paint your nails, give yourself a pedicure, fix that lightbulb you've been meaning to fix, wash your car, do your dishes, change your curtains, clean your carpet, spring clean your living space...use those hands

Now would also be a good time to think of others. If you can, put together food packets for your askaris/domestic workers (flour, cereals, sugar, long life milk esp. if they have babies). Go through your closets & donate CLEAN items that aren't being worn or used.

Laugh. Yes, laugh! It's good for your soul & your immunity. There are many movies, series, videos & memes that are likely to make you laugh, whether or not they're #COVID19 related.

Here's a funny tweet by @RealAmiani_Ke that recently gave me a much-needed giggle.

Sex.

Yes, YES, YEEEEEEEEEEES if you're sexually active, please get some sort of sexual release. Guitarists, pianists & snake charmers aka single/unattached people, this applies to you too. Your body is built for sexual pleasure, whether you're solo or attached.

While on the subject of sex, unless you want to have a little Christmas present đŸ‘¶, wrap it up. As you're buying TP, soap & food, pick up a pack of condoms or else we'll be there to celebrate your new baby 9 months from now. Either way, be safe & enjoy your choice
