one of those "this changed me" books. such a healthier way to view something we thought made us weak. its PACKED with personal anecdotes and ties in with the law of attraction. maybe not for skeptics, but pls pick this up with an open mind. i shed a lot of tears w this one 12/10
an old read im revisiting & ALWAYS recommend cos it truly changed me. this was my intro to the world of mindfulness and i carry a lot the lessons to this day. if u wna dissect ur inner turmoil and discover healthier, fine-tuned, personalized coping methods- this is for you. 20/10

an extremely informative read FULL of supportive data that delves into how integral self-control is (from pre-k to saving for your 401k) when it comes to your quality of life and it gives rly great tips to help you strengthen that area of your character 8/10
ryans sis gifted this to me after grad and its been extremely helpful, eye-opening, and motivating. I recommend this to anyone in college or who is struggling in the “real world”. this is FULL of helpful tips in finance, insurance, careers, time-management, and even faith. 10/10
a HUMEROUS psychoeducational one that throws shade at the systems oppressing this authors intersectional identities and deconstructs DECADES of learned biases. she has BP2 and talks about life with her Dx, relationships, medications, and how it sucks ass but doesn’t. 15/10
