this is neonpunch. they have been through hell ever since they were announced 3 years ago. through line up changes, irregular to nonexistent promotions and cruel treatment, neonpunch needs your help. now.

first, some history.
neonpunch was introduced in february 2017 by a100 entertainment, with 5 members: iaan, dayeon, baekah, arang and hajeong. they auditioned for mixnine in october, however only baekah (who participated as kim sua) was accepted. she finished in 22nd place.

tw//during the audition, they received inappropriate comments from yg. baekah/arang/iaan were minors and yg didnt hesitate to say things like "if only my female trainees danced like that for me" and "you are making me feel a certain type of way." dayeon eventually called him out.

after a lineup change where arang/hajeong left and may/terry took their places, neonpunch was scheduled to debut in may 2018. however it was postponed to june, and they eventually debuted with moonlight. this was their debut lineup (may, dayeon, baekah, iaan, terry).

neonpunch performed with 100% live vocals, as their mics were faulty. a100 could not afford high quality microphones for the girls. they had minimal promotions, however they did gain attention for how stable their vocals were. here's their debut stage.

shortly after the debut however the ceo called them in and told them they were disbanding. the girls were extremely emotional and agreed to become trainees again. eventually he revealed it was a JOKE, but this sparked anger among many. what kind of joke-

a month later terry suddenly vanished without a trace. she was no longer posting, no longer appearing in group videos, hashtags, et cetera. a100 did not respond to any questions about her whereabouts. it took 3 long months for them to announce terry left due to health reasons.

neonpunch made a comeback in january 2019 with their first mini album, watch out. they added a new member, yoon dohee, and their single "tic toc" was promoted in a similar fashion to moonlight: poor mics, minimal performances. here's their comeback stage.

once again, silence. neonpunch did post "punchmode" episodes and friday night dance practices (notably a bts medley and covers of various songs by groups like ateez, blackpink, etc). but other than that, not too much. there was certainly no music confirmed for a bit.

eventually in march a100 posted a makestar to help fund neonpunch's next comeback. the project raised over 11,000 USD, 179% of its original goal. fans began to hope that a comeback was on the way. #JusticeForNeonPunch

january 2020. there has been no news from neonpunch or a100, until it is announced that an april comeback is planned. no other details were released. finally, a comeback! after over a year, we would finally see our girls again. right?

in february it was announced that a100's youtube channel had been hacked and subsequently deleted. all of their content was gone. music videos, interviews, punchmode, dance practices. all gone. a100 worked to get it back and eventually did, but it was removed again today.

moonlight, their debut song, had just hit 1,000,000 views, an accomplishment that took a year and a half. things were finally starting to look up for neonpunch. things were finally starting to go right. we had the funds, some publicity, and a comeback time. it's all gone now.

if this was not enough, members may and dohee have begun to follow uncannily similar patterns that terry exhibited before her departure. neither have appeared in group photos for many months. they're no longer present in hashtags. dohee has not posted AT ALL for 6 months. +

may has posted on her personal instagram account and has begun uploading covers on her youtube channel, but she hasn't posted on neonpunch's insta for 3 months. both have not appeared in hashtags for a very long time. this is exactly what happened with terry. we can't lose them.

fans have been silenced every time questions were raised. the issue has been tossed aside for far too long. this blatant mistreatment has been occurring for almost 3 YEARS, bc a100 doesnt know how to do their job. and so, these beautiful girls have to suffer. #JusticeForNeonPunch
