So I’m curious: has anyone researched the history/potential of cops as disease vectors, especially to targeted communities? https://twitter.com/hermit_hwarang/status/1239027773185953798
I know folks have studied schools, health care workers, etc., but, as far as I’ve seen, cops are treated as silently assumed constant.

Pero like, they’re interacting with loads of people every day, so I wonder if there’s been any documentation/study of this
If anyone has any data on # interactions/altercations per day or anything like that, lemme know; I’m gonna have plenty time on my hands the next couple days and making back-of-the-envelope model sounds like a nice way to distract myself haha
thinking about this even more as NY becomes an epicenter for the US https://twitter.com/jtbrg/status/1242047302069628929?s=21
I absolutely hate this. And I know these fucking cops are gonna likely get far better care & attention than a lot of the communities they’re infecting
