Here's a little story how @oyorooms ruined my last night and a colleague's farewell
14th March, I book two rooms at A.S. Corporate Suites (for Rs. 1925) with my colleagues, one of them having his last day at work with us. We reach there, to be told that someone else had been allowed to check in our booked rooms and we should find some other place.
So, trying to get answers from the not-so-helpful customer support, we are walking around 11 pm in dark and cold roads searching for alternative places.
I am connected to a support guy, I guess his name was Ashish, who tells me that he would shift our booking to a nearby place and OYO would look after any cabs or inconvenience caused to us.
We are asked to check in Hotel Sanfort in Noida, and which would cost Rs. 1772, and @oyorooms would compensate it with what I paid earlier.
We reach to Hotel Sanfort, which wasn't the best of qualities but at least it was something. However, we are told that they don't accept prepaid bookings, and we should pay them in cash, @oyorooms would return the prepaid amount. So, I make my payment there in cash.
Today, I reach out to @oyorooms customer support and they tell me over the call that the whole amount of Rs. 1925 would be refunded . I was connected to Sneha.
Satisfied with the resolution, I continue with my day before @oyorooms drops an SMS bomb that said only Rs. 153 is being refunded
Now, I have been trying to connect to @oyorooms support but they keep telling me that they would connect to me to their seniors but nothing happens and all I get to hear is the stupid music.
Night ruined, farewell spoilt. What more could we ask? 🙃

Update: Just received a call from the social media manager, Rahul. He assured me about the complete refund. Been asked to submit my bank details for refund. 🙂
18 Days! @OYO4U I'm charged for a booking for which someone else is allowed to check in. Promises are made for refund and nothing is done. This is nothing but plain refusing to provide services after charging me the money. What is happening? @riteshagar
@OYO4U Why are you guys doing this? Your online reputation management guy, Rahul Sharma, told me more than 20 days ago, that my refund will be with me in 7 days. Why do I have to almost beg for my money? @riteshagar
