I have an imaginary seasonal restaurant called #Toksvigs, and I need your help to imagine it for Spring 2020. This is a thread, a collective imagining game about food & joy, esp for those stuck inside a lot during Spring. Please tag #Toksvigs - don't forget the S on the end. 1/
Our Spring menu is light, fresh & bright: tasting plates, finger food, chopstick bite, little light pancakes, crisp veg & salad, fresh and light fish, seafood, sushi, little tasty bites of lighter meats like chicken, and proteins like nuts and tofu. #Toksvigs 2/
Sweet, fresh, flowery desserts are usually on offer, along with white chocolate confectionery, tiny puff pastries, tart-fruity sorbets. There are light and flowery cordials and teas, fresh and crisp wines, and light refillable beers & ciders. #Toksvigs 3/
The day has five smaller mealtimes: fast-breaking 5am-11am. Mid-morning boost 10:30am-midday. Lunch midday to 2pm, mid-afternoon boost 2pm-4pm. Dinner is a choice of three sittings: early dinner 4pm-6:30pm; evening dinner 6:30pm-9pm; late dinner 9pm-midnight. #Toksvigs 4/
You can also book a Grazing Day and stay with us throughout. In fact, we never close, so you're welcome to be there in peace and quiet between midnight and 5am. We'll probably offer you coffee when we open. There's wifi, of course, if want it. #Toksvigs 5/
During our Spring season, art & craft materials are usually provided in case you want a bit of creative expression while you experience the culinary delights on offer, and artists will be in residence to support you in that. There's often live music in the evening. #Toksvigs 6/
You're welcome to arrange gatherings here. Got a book group? Want to have a relaxed work meeting? You can even make some rehearsal space here, if you move a few tables out the way. This place is infinitely big - or cosy, or anything else you'd like it to be. #Toksvigs 7/
There’s an outdoor space as well, of course, and the restaurant is situated in your ideal location: snowy mountainside, steamy jungle, green green meadow, cascading waterfall, elegant garden - whatever you want to see out of the window is there. #Toksvigs 8/

I try to respond to everyone, but when we’re very busy in #Toksvigs, sometimes I don’t quite manage it. But if you’d like to, you are welcome to do a bit of work here too! When replying, the rule is to say yes to everything lovely that anyone imagines - it is all real... 11/
