Good morning, this is your periodic reminder that key aspects of current USA domestic policy are being run by “population control” zealots who learned at the virtual knee of a white supremacist and advocate of what he termed “passive eugenics”
And at least one of those acolytes — who openly fantasizes about human misery inflicted on millions in hysterical, cruel scenes straight out of his favorite book — has been photographed with all sorts of nationalistic world leaders who are carrying out their own grim agendas
They’re enabled by a while army of bootlickers who spread their disinformation to protect their own foul proclivities and bottom lines

Don& #39;t worry, I always bring citations:
Here& #39;s an obit of the guy who started it all, John Tanton. He died last year https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2019/jul/21/john-tanton-architect-of-anti-immigration-and-engl/">https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2...
Background on Tanton and how his white supremacist aims were purposely normalized and mainstreamed over decades (from 2013, no less. Some of us have been watching this for a long time) https://www.adl.org/news/article/ties-between-anti-immigrant-movement-and-eugenics">https://www.adl.org/news/arti...
Here& #39;s another ADL link from a year later describing some of those particular groups that he had founded https://www.adl.org/news/article/funders-of-the-anti-immigrant-movement">https://www.adl.org/news/arti...
Guess what orgs DHS is hiring from? https://www.mediamatters.org/federation-american-immigration-reform/dhs-has-hired-another-senior-staffer-anti-immigrant-group">https://www.mediamatters.org/federatio...

Here& #39;s FAIR approving her hire. The live link now says that I& #39;m not authorized to access that page btw lol

And who remembers Julie Kirchner? Well, guess what org she used to run? https://fortune.com/2019/04/11/who-is-julie-kirchner-fair/">https://fortune.com/2019/04/1...
And which saggy old creep has been associating with all these nationalist assholes around the world? Why, Steve Bannon of course. Here& #39;s him writing approvingly about Modi, for example https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/steve-bannon-as-a-nationalist-modi-was-a-trump-before-trump/articleshow/70210775.cms">https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/...
Jair Bolsonaro& #39;s son Eduardo, who also works in politics https://twitter.com/bolsonarosp/status/1025718449425788929">https://twitter.com/bolsonaro...
And of course, Boris Johnson. Anyway you get the idea. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/jun/22/video-reveals-steve-bannon-links-to-boris-johnson">https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2...
Here& #39;s Bannon& #39;s favorite book. John Tanton& #39;s benefactor, Cordelia May, spent part of her great fortune getting this racist bullshit back into circulation. He and others have done their best to engineer scenes of human misery straight out of the book https://www.vox.com/culture/2018/2/10/16990428/steve-bannon-favorite-novel-camp-of-saints-racist">https://www.vox.com/culture/2...
It& #39;s just something to consider as we observe which countries slow-walk their responses to a highly contagious and communicable new virus and what their leaders say about it and what they use it as an excuse to do, thank u for coming to my TED talk
Also, uncritical news organizations have done little to no research on these orgs. Here& #39;s liberal darlings NPR advancing a white supremacist agenda, for example: https://www.npr.org/2020/02/12/805308722/kushner-seeks-to-revive-trumps-overhaul-for-immigration-system">https://www.npr.org/2020/02/1...
Here& #39;s what they had to say about the same exact groups and people 13 years ago, by the way. They seem to have forgotten https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7725295">https://www.npr.org/templates...
The Des Moines Register gets it (from yesterday) https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/opinion/columnists/rekha-basu/2020/03/12/maytag-family-foundation-funds-center-immigration-studies-splc-hate-group/5028409002/">https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/opi...
Earlier this month: "News outlets must stop running white nationalist propaganda" https://www.ourprism.org/1925128 ">https://www.ourprism.org/1925128&q...
And here& #39;s the New York Times publishing an op-ed from a senior fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies in January 2020. No mention of their eugenicist roots, of course. Entirely misleading propaganda https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/16/opinion/immigration-democrats.html">https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/1...
Sorry everybody but I& #39;d like to say finally: Listen to the advice of the public health experts because others have their own vicious agenda. Whether or not this truly is informing any decisions, we& #39;re clearly on our own and need to form community responses ourselves.
This is why I have been increasingly openly alarmed and ever more outspoken on here. My background following border issues and white supremacist movements (for my own protection, at least in the beginning) helped me see the patterns early on and what weapons-grade propaganda
techniques were being bent toward domestically (internationally also but in different ways.) This is what I wanted to prevent: A large-scale crisis of some sort used in the service of “passive eugenics,” obfuscated and exacerbated by disinfo firehosing and corrosive rhetoric.
In closing, listen to public health experts and wash your hands and don’t share stupid racist stories about foreigners being responsible for novel viruses etc.
I just can’t stop adding to this thread and I’m just gonna get weirder the longer I socially distance myself but at any rate here was my early warning, which I had thought was pretty provocative at the time but clearly didn’t go far enough. March 2017 https://www.snopes.com/news/2017/03/29/us-immigration-policy/">https://www.snopes.com/news/2017...
lol at everybody arguing in the comments that they can’t be population control advocates because they don’t support abortion. Yes, because if there’s anything white supremacists are known for it’s their ideological consistency and support of bodily autonomy for women lol
