I'm actually kinda excited to have a lot of time for prototyping new things, I missed that in the travel madness that were the last two years. I'm now actively fostering that mood to help me ride out the current madness. Here's what I'm gonna build:

The photo above is just a camera effect (a 'tiny planet' projection of a 360 photo shot by @JakubKoziol). But that inspired me to build an actual Wobble Sphere. It's happening!

The PCBs I designed for the Wobble Sphere just arrived!! The back sides were just blank, so I decided to ask @caiitlinz to create small abstract drawings for them. They came out so well! Once assembled these faces are hidden, like little art Easter eggs

We've got first light!! The Teensy 4 is powerful enough to drive the installation at 300+ FPS

Modeling a connector for the tiles in @adskFusion360 & PrusaSlicer

It's coming together! Next step: soldering the tiles on the pads along the edges for power & data
