I'm not one whom get angry immediately but try to be patient & understand the situation before I let my emotions take over me but whats triggering is that All About Luv era has ended, I received art albums >2 weeks ago & my deluxe albums are still under "order is being processed"
(2) I seperated my orders into 2 album types. The art albums are "International Standard Mail" estimated to take 7-21 biz days & it took 8 biz days which was good but the deluxe albums "International Priority Mail" estimated to take 6-16 biz days & has not arrived till date.
(3) I emailed Musictoday about 1 week after the release of All About Luv (20 Feb) bc I realized that the status for the deluxe was still "order is being processed" while art album was already at "order is being shipped" status (which I received on 25 Feb)
(4) On 22 Feb, Musictoday replied my email - apologized for the inconvenience and said an item from my order will be available for shipment on 25th Feb. So I waited.
(5) On 6 Mar (3 weeks after the release date and more than 1 week after the "promised" date for shipment) the status was still at "order is being processed". So I emailed Musictoday once again.
(6) Today (13 Mar) Musictoday replied my 2nd email - apologized for the delay, said product is currently on order from the manufacturer & has not arrived. Said expect product restock in 1-6 weeks for most products but some take longer, depending on the manufacturer's schedule.
What's upsetting is that I'm totally fine if it's a shipment delay due to the virus but now it seems like I'm being told that my albums have not been manufactured? And a pre-order is a pre-order for a reason. If they can complete the album art on time then why not the deluxe?
You are telling me that I pre-ordered from the official site more than 2 weeks before the release & almost a month after release it's still in production?
Update: so I replied them back on the same day (13 Mar) to clarify the meaning of product restock by manufacturer and demanded an explanation why my oos albums have been restocked after 1 month (and what more I pre-ordered it) and also on the part the prev staff overpromised
A reply came in on 17 Mar, "The delay was due to production delays at the manufacturing level. The product has now arrived and the order is processing to ship in the next few days."
Thankfully the email notification about my albums being shipped came in and that was 19 Mar (so far so good, totally justified for "next few days")
My albums finally arrived at my place today 9 Apr. This was not in line with the estimated 6-16 biz days for express shipping. But I totally understand that there might be shipping delays bc of the virus. (And maybe bc I'm tired of waiting and tired to argue anymore)
So tbh I wasn't even gonna continue this thread since I alr received my albums. So you thought it ended but apparently not bc.. let's play spot the difference 🙃
Yes they gave me an extra ver III and 1 less ver I. Pls tell me how to not be pissed at this situation. So my next move is to email them again. I'm not gonna go thru the hassle of returning the album etc but I wanna know what they are gonna do with this wrong order. 😑
