These episodes are very special as everyone remembers DevAkshi's marriage, all are quite vulnerable here. For the first tym post leap everyone expresses their true feelings, be it asha or sona. In this emotional situation, Dev goes missing

I personally loved how vulnerable sona gets now. It's coz she misses him, she wants him,not because of khatri only, bt she wants them to not hurt each other anymore at least on their anniversary. She wants to clear the misunderstandings, n realizes how much dey hurt each other.

Jatin here is a very good friend, nothing else. There's a difference b/w him and dev. It's evident from the scene where she said " Kuch baate sirf mere aur dev ke beech hain"

Coming to other people,
I love how everyone has their own life and is not after DevAkshi for no reason. They are living their lives. Vicky and Elena being all domestic is also a great change for ITV

The ronita situation is something that happens in every household. It looks small but such little things add up and create a big gap between the girl and her in-laws
Loved the contrast between dixits and boses as in-laws.

Soha and golu
These kids are the most realistic kids of itv . They get affected by the things happening around them . Soha now knows how having a father feels like, and she feels that she missed everything. Golu's bad scores and behavior coz of Dev's absence, is all realistic !

sona's dialogue " aap ek naya picture bhi bana sakte Ho , usme ham teeno honge , hamari kahani ki ending Abhi bahut dur hai, Abhi toh kahani shuru hui hai. Hamari story mein bahut Sara pyar hoga, itna, ki aapke saare colours bhi kam pad jaaye .. PYAR KE SAARE RANG HONGE"

I love how no scene is useless here. They have very realistically added real life issues with ronita saurabh and vicky Elena golu . Also unlike other shows here the side characters have their own lives, they are not after the leads for Revenge.

Ex gareeb ki beti is not a part of this discussion, but yes she did add a comic relief to the otherwise serious situation.

Her dialogue in the end "mai jaanti thi agar tumhari batein ab bhi mere Dil Ko chubhti hain , toh meri baatein tumhe bhi dard deti hongi. Na main tut Kar jud paayi Hu aur na hi tum, Dev . Isliye tum aaj yahaan Ho aur tumhare liye main bhi".
This sums up their situation

He says "miss sonakshi Bose , tum yehi thi aur yehi ban ke rehna chahti thi". Here he doesn't actually mean that , but it kinda shows his frustration that she is no more HIS. He has no right on her personal relationships, she is not his wife or I should say He isn't her partner+

He said this because he probably had a hope that they'll be together again , as we discussed yesterday, that he low key was doing things that made Ishwari and sona closer , without his interference.

But seeing her with Jatin he is heartbroken again. And he's quite surprised that he's heartbroken " Maine socha tha ki kuch tootne ke liye bacha hi nahi" ....

The maan mariyada and dosti ka rishta dialogue was a BIT dramatic, but it wasn't for making the scene fancy . It meant , what it did, they had a relationship of friendship, mariyada and maan ,the mutual respect,many would not agree , was there .

They said mean things to each other, but do u remember , " kyuki sirf main tumhe hurt Kar sakta hun". They won't let anyone else disrespect them . Be it Ronita's mom or khatri!

Sona's true feelings came out twice when she fumbled.... " zindagi mein Maine sirf tumse...". And " ye maa ke baare mein..".

Dev was silent all this while , but he was just trying to digest what he heard.. he was shocked . He was shocked that his ' bhagwaan' could do anything which comes under the category of 'crime ' be it big or small

Two questions arise now
Q1. Why is sona so emotional?
Q2.why is dev blaming himself for everything?

Ans 1- Do you remember the episode when dev's teacher came to visit and sona came to know for the first time that dev had a sad past. She was very disturbed by that It made her feel something for both him and Ishwari for the first time

...Now again that thing came out, she knew how much that affected him , she knew he was broken . She was very scared that he'll try to blame himself again , as always. Hence she tried to make him realize that he isn't responsible,it's not his fault.

Ans2- It's his http://nature.It  is very 'Dev Dixit' to do that He tried taking all blames on himself.
This one thing was so so so disturbing for him that not only for that situation, he realized all the wrong things that happened to sona because of him.

He took the blames.He realized what was wrong from his side in their relationship... and she felt really really bad for him ..
He said "mai jis bhi cheez Ko haath lagata Hu vo kharaab Ho jaati hai" He was so broken . One can feel sona getting broken with him as well.

With him , she too confessed how she went wrong. How she never trusted him . How she broke her promise that she made the day he said " I'm a difficult man" . How she now knew that he can not handle the khatri situation alone.

If u see carefully,after her confession his face has a different kind of relief, he suddenly felt that he hasn't lost her , the hope that was broken a few minutes ago started to build again. Then he deliberately made her fumble" vo meri bhi to family hai.."And then he was sure.

He got his peace back , he was still not over the Ishwari matter, but for some time he got a bit relieved.. he hugged her , coz he wanted solace and he could find it in HIS sona only.

But as we discussed earlier, she was STILL scared all her inner feelings came out only when she fumbled. All this happening on their special day made it all the more emotional.

Sona had been trying to make herself believe that dev was a bad man , a bad father but she couldn't.
" Sab tumse pyar katein hain , aur jo nahi karte tum unka bhi Dil jeet lete Ho" she said , not only to console him , but also to express what she felt.

Sona knew it very well that dev is going to react this way. She knew he'd blame himself and get scared to face soha too. It happened.He felt that he's a failed person. He failed as a son, husband and brother, and soon he'll fail as a father too.

What I love about dev is that he is so SELFLESS that he has a lot of LOVE to GIVE. Sona says " tumne use saat saal ka pyar saat din mein hi de diya, aur mera guilt (of keeping soha away from dev) bhi us pyar mein kahin kho gaya"
He gave all the love to sona , soha and Ishwari .

Sona says that she and Ishwari will never agree with him if he takes all the blames. She knows he will , but she won't agree, neither would Ishwari. Because she knows he may be emotionally weak but no one can love someone like he does.

Ishwari too will never let him take the blame for THIS issue at least.
She's parented him by keeping him in guilt, but as I said, Ishwari the mother was alive but not Ishwari, and in later episodes we see her being guilty for this matter and not blaming dev.What's your take on it

Coming to soha
She's just spent around two weeks with dev but just like sona , she too fell for him. His love is soo pure that no one can escape it. Her poem was quite innocent and cute! While dev forgot his fear as soon as he saw sona's trust for him, and sona's love for him .

This thread is for discussions , but I feel the need to explain something, that is , Ishwari's importance here. Some people think that it's DevAkshi 's story and Ishwari is the villain. But it's not like that . Three people are the protagonists, and their love is interconnected

Now let's start from the very beginning. The first 100 episodes is the base of their love . Ishwari fell in love with sona . Sona fell in love with dev and Ishwari . Ishwari already loved dev and dev loved Ishwari. Dev fell in love with sonakshi

But this is the love between two people
Dev - Ishwari
Ishwari- sonakshi
Sonakshi -dev
But when two sides of this triangle join , the third one remains . And there's no balance. This lead to problems .

When THEY Separated, ('they ' includes all three ) all the bonds got cracked , not broken.
Here sona is helping dev and Ishwari . I've already said that she was doing this because she knew how he'd react. But why did she help Ishwari ?

Why did she still respect Ishwari ?
Because her bind with her as a DIL -MIL broke , but the Ishwari she fell in ove with, was not her MIL , she was her patient , her friend.
When Ishwari realizes her mistakes in Future , she says that she loved sonakshi

It was after Dev's entry into the picture that they got bitter.
Similarly when Ishwari entered DevAkshi's love , problems started.
And when sonakshi came between dev- Ishwari there were insecurities.

So all three bonds got affected by one another leading to problems , misunderstandings, pain and separation.
Dev sonakshi parted ways, dev left Ishwari.
All got separated

Now when sona saw that someone has been blackmailing Ishwari , she definitely felt bad for her , and now she connects more with her as a single mother. So out of her long lost love for Ishwari and also out of humanity, she helped her,Promised to help her.

BONUS EPISODE - 304
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
HEART TO HEART CONVERSATION

We are discussing this one because:
The Dev and Sona conversation post the anniversary celebration is a nice wrap up to the these few emotionally charged episodes.

Let's get started !!!

So I'm starting with the dev sona conversation scene directly, as it is the highlight
The most special thing about this particular episode is that they are so open! We are not left with many things to dig beneath as they TALK

Both had softened a lot till this point. Then they realize that they have been hurting themselves all these years , they realize that they had gone wrong. " mai gussa thi, khud pe" sona said . Dev seemd a bit frightened first as he had not come out of the guilt completely

But when sona clarified, he felt that even he was like that in all these years, he too felt angry.
They thanked each other for the first time. Dev gave her all the credit for sona's upbringing. They for the first time post leap did not blame each other , the facade went away

The real feelings came out .Dev was in awe of sona's upbringing, sona was falling for dev,wanting to be with him for some more time, talk to him; they TALKED about how they became the old dev and sona , how they celebrated this day in the past7 yrs and how bad ws their condition

They were very comfortable saying that " mere bhi Kuch aise haal the " coz they knew that they never stopped loving each other ,and they accepted tht they were sad all those yrs. it's a mutual understanding, when dey talked about their "halaat".Bt dey knew they can't get together

When sona says " Kya ye kaafi nahi ki hamre wajah se hamari families khush hain , kya itna kaafi nahi" dev is surprised that she said "hamari"
They had been blaming each other all these months post leap that it was surprising for him. He was kinda waiting for the moment she +

Turns soft , and he suddenly wanted to break those boundaries. As soon as he saw a bit of HIS sona, he started getting softer and more into the guilt if hurting her.
Whereas she was still a bit hesitant. The hug / handshake scene is a proof of the physical discomfort.

Sona wanted to be with him. Talk to him . But she was hesitant, she did not want to show that she's fallen for him again, but was ready to go to him if he calls. Due to that discomfort , dev felt a bit hesitant to call her back and she couldn't hear his faint call.
