Day 1: first anime
I grew up watching ghibli films, dbz, and Pokémon, but the first anime I watched that I knew was anime was fruits basket 2001. While I can’t bring myself to hate it, I’m actually not fond of this version. (Manga and 2019 are the best versions.

Day 2: favorite anime so far
It’s close, but it’s hunter x hunter for me.
Gintama is a very close second, and depending on how well the rest of fruits basket it adapted it might surpass HxH but we’ll see

Day 3: favorite male anime character.
It’s Gintoki, not only is he a great character, he’s really unique for a shounen protagonist and when he’s not goofing off, he can be very inspirational and a great role model.

Phos is my favorite anime character ever, but if she doesn’t cause cause she’s actually genderless, then Yona. Both have incredible growth throughout their stories

Day 5: anime you’re ashamed you enjoyed.
Shield hero, it’s heavily flawed in its writing, and it pretty cringey at times, but I didn’t think it was an overall bad experience, I had some fun watching it. I have no interest in watching S2 and 3 of it tho

Day 6: anime I want to see but haven’t yet.
There’s a lot of anime I want to see, but for this I’m putting Kemono souja Erin.
I don’t hear a lot of people talk about it, but I’ve only heard great things about it, and it seems like something right up my alley

This one is actually kinda hard since I don’t have as many ship. As least, ships that aren’t canon. But some ships that I really loved recently were Hak x Yona, Yuu x Nanami, and Akane x Kotarou

Honeeey you *know* I can’t choose any other villain, Meruem is just the greatest from all standpoints.

I assume fighter just means shounen or action series, so of course I’m gonna go with HxH for that

I haven’t seen many mecha anime, but I love gurren lagaan a lot, and it’s something I’ve been rewatch for a long time

Not including deaths since that’s another question on the challenge, these scenes from a place further than the universe and claanad after story WRECK ME.

Bonus: there are a lot of sad scenes in fruits basket, but what I consider the saddest scene in that series has yet to be animated... yet ready for that...
