PFI - A THREAD.
Popular front was a term given to the coalition of parties, which came together to fight against a common cause. Mostly communist parties used this tactic to gain power. First used in 1935 in Nazi Germany. (1/N)

PFI in kerala started as a successor of the NDF(National development front), in 2006. Later merged with many Muslim organisations all over India. PFI claims to be a NGO working for the upliftment of Muslims and other supposedly downtrodden classes. (2/N)

E Aboobacker is the chairman of PFI. Interesting thing here is that he was founder president of SDPI, founder chairman of NDF, State president of SIMI among other positions. SDPI, NDF, SIMI have all been long involved in various anti-national activities. (3/N)

Sep 5, 2012: N Sachin Gopal, ABVP district leader, a student of Modern ITC kannur, died following the stab wounds in his abdomen. Stabbed by a gang which had allegiance to Campus front/PFI. ABVP leader S Ramesh demanded a ban on PFI from kerala & karnataka govt. (4/N)

S Ramesh even blamed CFI/PFI for killing at least a dozen ABVP members prior to this incident.

20 july, 2012: Chengannur police arrested Nazim and Shafeeq, popular leaders of PFI for the murder of another ABVP member Vishal. Vishal was the Chengannur area karyavahak. (5/N)

13 June, 2011: Sudheendra(20) and Vignesh(21) were kidnapped and killed in Mysore, by KFD men. Karnataka forum for dignity. KFD joined PFI in 2006, after a ban on SIMI. KFD demanded a ransom of 5 crores for the boys, killed them anyway. (6/N)

4 July, 2010: TJ Joseph was a professor at the New Mans college in Thodupuza in Idukki. He was attacked by PFI members and had his hand chopped off by them. They claimed one question in his paper had inflammatory remarks on prophet.

2 July, 2018: Student's federation of India leader, Abhimanyu, Maharaja's college student in Ernakulam kerala, was killed. By? PFI members again. 16 people were chargesheeted in this incident, many even involved in the above case. (8/N)

21 people were found engaged in arms training inside a building owned by Thanal foundation, a religious and charitable trust owned by (surprise surprise) PFI, at NARATH. 2 more were outside on guard. Seized articles included country made bombs. (9/N)

5 Feb, 2019: Ramalingam was murdered in Thanjavur by Rahman Sadiq and Muhammad Ali jinna, both from PFI.

2016: Raju a Swayamsevak of RSS was brutally hacked to death by some people. Abid pasha was the prime accused in his murder. Coincidentally Abid was also involved in the murder of the students in (6/N). From? KFD. Affiliated to? PFI. Also involved in 5 other murders. (11/N).

There have been 27 political murder cases, 86 attempt to murder cases and 125 communal incitement cases against the PFI. The above cases were just a few of them. Kerala police reported that 6 activists of PFI has joined ISIS. 3 ISIS affiliated people were arrested in Delhi.(12/N)

Abdul samad, Khaja Moiddeen and Syed ali nawaz, were nabbed by the counter terrorism squad, described as ISIS recruiters. They too had links to PFI. After the 2016 raid in Kannur, youngsters inspired by IS had formed their own version, 'Al Zarul Khallefa'. (13/N)

After this raid, within months, almost 22 people had joined the IS in Afghanistan.
Moving on, PFI has been involved in innumerable cases of love jihad. The most prominent was the one of Hadiya jehan. (14/N)

Hadiya jehan's father claimed her husband to be of PFI, later the police verified that it was true. Akhila or Hadiya was converted to Islam in a religious school, Sathya Sarani, which was again, controlled by PFI. (15/N)

Majority of the women sent into the ISIS are sent after conversion, and conversions as mentioned above take place in religious schools controlled by the PFI. Even the syro malabar church priest claimed that christian girls were being converted and sent to ISIS. (16/N)

August 2012: Assam riots. During these riots a large number of communal tension inciting messages were sent. Most of these messages came from Pakistan. But they were circulated widely in Hyderabad and Bengaluru by PFI. Believed to have been working together with HuJI. (17/N)

February 2015: During a march taken out by PFI cadre, they're said to have raised slogans against RSS, which led to stone pelting on their rally. This turned violent and led to hindu muslim clashes in Shivamogga. PFI activists attacked three people on a bike, killing one. (18/N)

During these anti-CAA riots the UP police had caught 25 people related to PFI, involved in inciting riots. UP govt has written to the MHA asking them to ban the org. According to ED PFI mobilised 120 crores for these riots. Danish ali too was arrested recently. (19/N)

The major reason for PFI not being banned yet is that, PFI has grown it's base all over India. Citizen's forum, goa. Community social and educational society, Rajasthan. Nagrik adhikar suraksha samiti, Andhra pradesh, are just some of the affiliated orgs to PFI.(20/N)

The Jharkhand Government in feb 2019 banned the PFI, after no decision by the Home ministry. PFI currently has it's stronghold in 23 states in India. Yogi government is seeking a ban on it now. Let's see how fast it happens. (21/N)
