Do to Fulmer comments, I've had requests to bring back an off season favorite: Annual review of the Vols backness. New friends, feel free to click the thread below to trace the history of said backness
I last updated y'all in 2017. (UGA 41, Vols 0) So lets catch up shall we? https://twitter.com/sarahg1561/status/827200626350288896

We start with my favorite of the bunch: 2018. Given that Tennessee was a undeniable dumpster fire, but Pruitt was on the horizon, backness was everywhere this year. However, this one might be favorite. A rare glimpse of backness based in reality
After to losing to Vandy and finishing 7th in the East, the Vols unshakable belief in Pruitt-induced-backness took a tough hit. But then suddenly a #23 recruiting class gave 2019 off season backness new life.
Now 2019 also had special bonus backness after previous off-season backness was crushed by an immediate loss to GSU. After finally winning a game, we saw a resurgence of Mid-season backness (and official notice for the SEC)
2020: Naturally, backness is at an all time after the historic 23-22 victory over Indiana in the Tax-Slayer Bowl. So much so that Mr. Fulmer himself guaranteed 2020 backness (originally guaranteed by Mr. Fulmer in 2016). Stay tuned for results
