Bilal was the DJ for Play’s party and not only did he not pay him. Play left him for a car full of girls and took his equipment which he scratched up and gave no fucks about. Didn’t return to pick Bilal up until damn near 9 pm.
Full Force was trying to kill Kid the entire movie and Play never stepped up to help his boy ..
The wanted to kill Kid so bad that they were going to burn Play’s house down .. the fact they came to Plays house talking wild and he didn’t ask for the fair one is crazy after they beat his boy up in the cafe infront of everyone.
Play tried to embarrass Kid on the mic just because it was his party at his house as if Kid wasn’t already having the worse day possible. He got his ass kicked by an 80s R&B group and was running from his pops
Kid ended up lighting Play up ... Play didn’t even rap him up .. smh
A real friend would have told Kid that Sydney liked him and that he didn’t have a chance with Sharane, Play knowing he wanted her .. didn’t even tell Kid.

In House Party 2, Play took Kid’s tuition check and used it to try and get a record deal ... my boy kid had a financial hold from the Butsar and had to get a job cleaning lunch trays while Play drove a mustang and knocked down bad jawns ..
As a kid I thought Play was cool, as an adult he was terrible friend in House Party .. TERRIBLE !!!!!
