Let& #39;s unpack this for a second, shall we?

The obvious insinuation from any Bernie zealot on the attack against Warren, her supporters, really anyone that is not already for Bernie, is that if you do not back Bernie Sanders, you are literally against all of his goals and will be venomously combative about that perception.

The summary argument they give is that if you really believed in those things, you could handle some mean people.

First, fuck anyone who says that, this isn& #39;t "mean people". Anyone who has been the target of the extreme toxicity says "fuck you" to the dismissive reply.

Second, it is absurdity of the highest order that so many people do not understand how human beings actually function. As in... no one wants to work with an asshole if you can work with someone nicer.

To keep unpacking that...

Bernie& #39;s goals are amazing. Bernie himself is... I& #39;ll be kind and say he& #39;s problematic. He gets little done. He has little accomplishment to his name beyond rabblerousing. He is a pain in the ass to such an extent that almost none of his colleagues want anything to do with him.

All of this adds up to an unfortunate truth that almost his entire agenda is a non-starter from day one. Shit he can& #39;t just sign an EO to enact. Shit he has done *none* of the work to rally colleagues in the Senate around, to say nothing of the House. He is a paper tiger.

And his colleagues KNOW that. His enemies KNOW that. He has no idea how to fucking COLLABORATE and COMPROMISE.

He does not know how to play well with others.

It& #39;s something his most zealous supporters have taken as an inspiration.

When people are so negatively affected by his and his supporters& #39; behavior that they make comments about how that behavior is literally driving them further away from support, their first response is to get *more* hostile and lay on threatening guilt trips. They harass.

Instead of following a basic rule of humanity and sharing of themselves to build a connective bridge and find understanding, they burn. Instead of draw in, they push away.

They prove constantly that they don& #39;t play well with others. Any new friends they can make, they drive off.

And that& #39;s when the accusation of not actually believing in the same thing comes out. Then their blindness, their total lack of self-awareness, is laid bare. Because it never once occurs to them that we intend to work for those things.

We just don& #39;t want to do it with *them*.

If you have a group of people together, and all of them want most of the same things, but a few people in that group want to be assholes about it and it makes the rest of the group miserable, you can goddamn bank on those assholes being ostracized for their assholery.

We will do whatever we can to get as much as we can of what we believe in.

If you want to treat us like shit and simultaneously prove to us that you are ineffective at actually getting any of those mutual goals done?

We will leave you behind.

You read that right, zealots.

WE will be the ones leaving YOU behind.

You can twist yourselves into knots all you want about purity, what you& #39;re entitled to re: endorsements, how you feel owed and how anyone who& #39;s not with you is against you (gotta love that old chestnut).

You are the problem. We will get the work done without you if you want to be jackasses. We& #39;ll block you, mute you, delete you, ignore you.

Once you learn how to actually work together, LISTEN to other people, maybe that will change.

If you learn how to play well with others.
