Thread of stuff I finished in 2020

1. Sekiro
- Hard as fuck but what a fun ass game
- The clashing of nippon steel feels so orgasmic
- 10/10

2. Zombieland Saga
- Crazy inconsistent but the great moments are worth sticking around for
- ep 8 made my cry sm

3. Sakura Quest
- so much fun to watch and i don't think there was ever a moment where i got bored
- super underrated and I rlly wish there was more :((
- 9/10

4. Promare
- Honestly really disappointed
- Fantastic visuals but Trigger dropped the ball in every other aspect
- Basically Luluco but less meaningful
- 7/10

5. Hanasaku Iroha
- I feel bad about watching this right after Sakura Quest because this anime blows it outta the water
- Such a joy to watch and has one of the best main characters in recent memory
- 9/10

6. Eizouken
- discount shirobako but still good
- I feel like I shoulda liked this anime more but some parts of it really annoyed me
- 7/10

7. Persona 5
- BEST GAME EVER
- the only persona game with not-tedious dungeon crawling
- some writing issues but I don't care, any complaints I have pale in comparison to everything the game does well
- 10/10

8. Bofuri
- If this didn't come out weekly, I don't think I woulda finished it
- Most of it was pretty boring but it looked nice and Maple was kinda cute ig
- 6/10

9. If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan I Would Die
- a showcase of obsessive fan culture but in a light way
- pretty repetitive & nothing is accomplished by the end
- the only thing this anime has going for it is reinforcing how much potential Ai Fairouz has
- 6/10

10. Hanako-kun
- design wise, everything is solid
- it looks pretty but there are so many anime with the exact premise as this one's and better
- 6/10

11. Koisuru Asteroid
- wholesome Doga Kobo fluff that made my face hurt from smiling too much
- I only watched it for the yuri but learning about astronomy was kinda fun
- please let there be a season 2
- 8/10

12. In/Spectre
- ugh,, the main character seemed really cool but this was easily the biggest waste of time of the season
- its nice how it goes in depth with its bullshitting but the SLN arc was too long for a one cour anime
- 5/10

13. HaNaYaMaTa
- pretty standard CGDCT fare but its got enough substance and is competently made enough to be enjoyable most of the time
- has one of the best OPs I've seen in a while
- 7/10

14. Please Tell Me Galko-chan
- lovingly crafted, thematically rich, and sincere
- its characters were surprisingly endearing with how multifaceted each of them become defying their supposed clique they represent and have the perfect comedic chemistry together
- 7/10

15. Koufuku Graffiti
- a cute show about cute girls eating food and always enjoying themselves a little too much
- probably the best anime that conveys the pleasures of eating but not a lot else
- 7/10

16. Bakuon
- Forget how well made it is on the whole, its great having a cute girls doing [niche interest] show that pokes fun at itself so much & where the premise isn't just used as an excuse to grab at an arbitrary audience who wants to watch a show about their hobby
- 8/10

and all the character were all hot as fuck but that's secondary
