Hi Fellow #Resistance members - I noticed a lot of accounts liking/retweeting me that are just around 5K following, but have far fewer than 4,600 followers (see pictures). This is the Twitter generated 5K wall to stop bots - you cannot follow back until your ratio is in line 1/

Your ratio of followers and following needs to be within 5%-10% of each other in order to continue following others. That means at 5K following, you should have AT LEAST 4,600 to 4,800 followers. Here are some tips to help you get your ratio in line: 2/

1) Go to your profile & find the list of accounts you follow & scroll down a ways & unfollow accounts that did not follow you back, or those that followed you & then unfollowed
2) Temporarily unfollow Celebrity & other Blue Check Mark/Verified accounts or put them on a list 3/

To put an account on a list, you can do the following - see pictures, but it's extremely easy: Go to your profile and click on Lists & then follow the prompts. You can then unfollow those accounts, but will still be able to see their tweets. 4/

However, be careful when you unfollow accounts, celebrity or otherwise. You can unfollow maybe 50-100 per day. If you unfollow too many, you can get hit with a shadowban. I learned that the hard way a year ago.

I hit 5K in following & only had 3.5K or so followers & was very frustrated I could not follow cool new accounts. Finally, a week later, I was told about the 5K wall & it took me weeks to get my ratio back in line. Hopefully this will save a few of u from similar.
