Okay, so a while ago a did a poll to see if anyone would be interested in a #Megaquarium video showing some building tips... after the response (mainly from @AurochDigital) I started thinking about what I& #39;d show off in said video.
I started making a list... outdoor areas, decorations, 2 sided walls, toilet blocks, libraries, pet stores, a café, toy stores... & then I realised I was designing a small town.

Then the idea kind of solidified & work on Megaquapolis (pronounced like Megatropolis) was born.
It& #39;s slow work, but so far I& #39;ve made the sea front, complete with a palm lined beach, an ice cream kiosk & the pier.
I& #39;ve also made a small toy store at the entrance of the town.
The first pet store & a little outdoor seating area.
One of many public use bathrooms & a better look at the seating area.

Plus an area with just an empty shirt stand... there& #39;ll be a clothes store eventually.
So yeah, this mythical video probably won& #39;t exist any time soon, but Megaquapolis is growing bit by bit.

I& #39;m trying to make it functional as well as showing what you can do with the tools... so far it& #39;s reasonably profitable despite the lack of fish/ exhibits.
Oh, & yeah... I plan to actually have an aquarium in this town.

Like, a small one... but still.

Plus a museum, café, houses & a bunch of other unnecessary stuff.

I may never actually finish this, but I still seriously love this game.
Since there& #39;s already a thread I& #39;m just gonna add more to this & tag @AurochDigital.

I& #39;m now a little over 8 hours in (the game crashed & I lost some progress sadly) & I& #39;m still working on Megaquapolis.

I& #39;ve realised stairs make a pretty nifty roof edge, which I might use more.
I& #39;ve also started to actually populate the ocean... so far I just have a nurse shark (name suggestions welcome) & an octopus called Houdini because they& #39;re literally invisible all of the time.

I wanted the pier columns to look neat, but to also work as steps...
I& #39;ve also started the actual aquarium part of my town.

I& #39;m trying to be a little more creative with floor patterns & stuff like that.

So far it has a lobby, gift shop, cafeteria, store rooms & a toilet.

The tanks are all empty so far, but a lot of the basic elements are there.
Lastly (for now) there& #39;s the book shop with a restoration happening next door where there& #39;s some excavated ruins on a building site.

I often use the platforms to mark areas in working on since they remind me of scaffolding.

I haven& #39;t hired anyone to work in here yet.
The boxes are supposed to represent those display tables you get in book stores... it kinda works.

But yeah, so far I& #39;m pretty chuffed with it.

There& #39;s still a long way to go, but it& #39;s a fun little project to keep adding to, especially with the apocalypse happening right now.
