Synesthesia is a condition in which one sense such as hearing is simultaneously perceived as if by one or more additional senses such as sight.

I have this.

I see sounds as colours, and textures.

To try to describe to you what I see, think of freshly dyed silk that has been hung out to dry and subsequently is dry but still blowing in a breeze, whilst the sun's light is behind it illuminating the colour but also like the light is coming from the silk. The silk is not

attached to anything, so it just sort of blows in and dissipates like smoke would. The colour can be very light to very rich depending on the tone and timber of the sound.
