kinda hits seeing bts talk abt how hard it was to go on music shows during debut days, how shows wouldn’t give a slot so they’d be waiting around for one to open up & so when they got that short interview, in the middle of a stairway, they realise how important it was for them

that time has passed but I hope we never forget how much bts went through during their debut days, how hard it was for them compared to others & how they had to work 100x more than their peers to be given even an ounce of the same treatment.

now fast forward on 7 years later & look at where bts are now. BTS - who award shows change their schedules around just so they can attend. BTS - who can’t attend these shows no more cause they attending fcking New Years rockin Eve instead. BTS did all that with just their music.

BTS had nothing to boost them, no industry connections & no big label support, so they had nothing they could rely on but their music & their performances. that is the growth of bangtan. that is their success story - music like no other, performances like no other.

BTS gave their all, fought tooth & nail to make a name for themselves. they never dreamed of being where they are now. just a simple music show win was enough to have them in tears. just one successful album had them frightened that they’d already peaked & that was it for them

but bts never stopped... they went into the studio & worked their ass off writing & producing music that ended up connecting with millions across the globe. spent hours on end in the dance studio practising their routines like crazy to make sure it was perfect for their audience

I’ll never stop being proud of BTS cause they really started from nothing & made it here by themselves. their story is one of struggle but also triumph. their journey has been so turbulent, they could’ve lost their way at any moment but no, as 7, they made it here & stans strong

BTS went from strugglin to get music shows slots in Korea to becoming not just one of the biggest bands but one of the biggest artists on earth. beating those with industry support, radioplay, playlisting etc. how? bcs just like in 2013, it comes down to 1 simple thing-BTS’ music
