a thread of things i love about @bayoulejeune (1/?)
he is gut-wrenchingly funny. on our first date, he used the term "divorce-face" to describe Ben Affleck and i choked on my pizza.
he is an excellent older brother. he loves to brag about his siblings and he is always there for them if they are in trouble, scared, or have questions about anything. he supports their ambitions, too
he's a snuggler.
he smells good (because he let me pick out his deodorant).
he is sentimental and you never DON'T know what he's feeling. i never have to guess.
he is generous with praise/verbal affirmation. again, i never have to guess where we are. he is so excited to love people and tell them.
he is an excellent conversationalist. one of the things that drew me to him was that when we started talking, he didn't hit on me. he didn't take cheap routes to feign emotional intimacy. he listened to me and asked me real questions and was genuinely interested in me.
he is a world traveler--and i MEAN it. he has lots of travel goals, but he is interested in literally every part of the world and isn't just focused on white, eurocentric destinations (one of my weaknesses! i want to learn more about the world! it's a good thing I'm dating him!)
he's brave. he takes risks and works hard for what he wants. he's not afraid to sacrifice.
he has his shit together. he works on himself and has learned from people around him. he is conscious about the mistakes his parents made and takes active moves to do better.
he tink im cute. this is a huge leap for him, because he’s literally seen me puke.
reviving this thread because @bayoulejeune is sleeping and I miss him ANYWAY he has very fine hair. like a baby. very fun to pet 14/10
i immediately felt comfortable around him. i DONT even remember the first time i farted in front of him because I think he just said “hmm” and chuckled
he has the best taste in recipes/restaurants/grocery stores
his hair pomade smells very very good
