#jikookau where bunny kook gets picked up from high profile actor jimin in a café he works at. everyone thinks he's just a trophy hybrid that tags along to jimins set but in private jimin calls him fiancé.
Jungkook is a bunny hybrid and a pretty one at that. he's had offers a lot of time already to come home with people, stay there and be theirs but.. it hadn't ever fit for him. for the most part he had been happy with where and who he was anyways. he had never been interested
in going home with anyone from the café either. he worked as a waiter at the sky café, on top of an office building. the Cafe was frequented by business men and vips, so seeing Park Jimin there hadn't been a huge shock for him. being requested as his waiter though was something
else. the actors dark eyes had been on him the whole night and the pretty girl next to him had noticed as well. she had packed her bag frustrated about an hour into their visit but Jimin had stayed behind.

"what's your name?", he had asked once kook had put the dirty glasses
on his tablet. "Jeon Jungkook, sir", the bunny had replied dutifully. "would you like to sit down and have a coffee with me, Jeon Jungkook-ssi", stunning eyes dried themselves into his and kook nodded before he could think about anything else. #jikookau #jikook
--
the nerves started once he had sat down. he felt horribly out of place in his black pants, dress shirt, bow tie combo. jimin looked handsome just like he always saw him on TV, fitted pants, shiny shoes and a shirt that looked as if it cost more than Jungkooks pay the month
a quick look around made sure that his observation was right, every table was filled with handsome or pretty people in expensive clothes drinking and eating their way through their expensive menu. his eyes flitted to jimin once again, his black ears twitching softly from
where he tried to hide them in his also black hair. the motion seemed to have caught jimins attention, a smile played around his lips. "you look so tense.. please relax you're not in trouble and I'm not going to eat you, Jungkook shuddered. jimin looked like he did want to though
"I'm sorry, sir. it won't happen again", the hybrid nodded his head slightly. but Jimins Hand waved his worries away. "Please...i didn't ask you to join me just for you to apologise", the actor smiled gently and reached for their menu, holding it out to the other. #jikookau
Looking at the other with curious eyes the bunny hybrid cocked his head a little to the side. "I'm not really sure why you asked me at all, Park-ssi", his voice a mix of nerves and gentle curiousity. The actor just smiled again and grabbed the menu to hold it in front of him
"I'm pretty sure you've got the whole menu in your head already..", Jungkook flushed slightly. "but i'd ask you to pick something out you always wanted to try...get something to drink and something to eat and then..just talk. that's why i asked you to stay. you seem interesting"-
dark eyes slowly moved over his body. "and i'd like to get to know you. if you want to of course", Jimin leaned back and patiently waited for an answer.
Jungkook let his fingers dance along the spine of the, of course remembered, menu. A few seconds ticked by then he opened it up
it wasn't per say that he was curious about anything in particular. but he hadn't had lunch yet and the small pack of banana milk wasn't enough. and if the actor really offered. who was he to say no? his eyes roamed over the well known foods and beverages. just one thing really
stoof out to him. he must have stared at one point for longer than he had anticipated. "I guess you've found something then?", the handsome actor in front of him inquired. Jungkook tried to not let his obvious embarrassment be shown. he failed horribly. #jikookau
his coworker looked at him in a mix of absolute awe and obvious disgust. how could he, a lowly bunny hybrid, sit in front of world class actor Park Jimin. and not die on the spot. even though he felt like it.
--
somehow the initial shock of park jimin world class actor: "call me jimin hyung", had faded into something less nervous. he had been wary at first, why would someone like jimin want to know /any/thing about someone like him? was this all an elaborate prank? jungkook sure
felt like it. but meeting for coffee morphed into meeting for lunch then to meeting up for karaoke. then they went to an amusement park and somewhere down the line they visited a few farmers markets. it was 3 months in when Jungkook finally registered that jimin was taking him
out for dates. this wasn't stuff you did with your friends. "so.. am I mistaken or.. do you want to date me?", he had asked nervously over a tall caramel frappucino, ears twitching softly and tongue trying to reach the blob of cream on his nose. his eyes were already starting to
cross when jimin laughed and actually flushed bright red. "I thought I was dating you for quite some time already", the actor admitted and jungkook stared at him in shock. "... oh", he whispered for a second and beamed brightly just afterwards. "okay! let's date!", the bunny
smiled and felt his tail flicking excited at his lower back. "okay, let's date", jimin repeated way calmer than himself. he had forgotten about the quest to get the cream of his nose but when jimin leaned over and honest to god kissed his nose, he immediately remembered.
and just like this the visits at the farmers market and the coffee dates transformed into romantic dinners at a restaurant and jimin taking him out to shop for things (since Jungkook almost had a panic attack because he had no good enough closes to even step a foot into a high
class Restaurants who was he kidding his job only payed so much and his rent didn't just disappear. only when it suddenly did and jungkook had to scream at jimin not to just pay his rent for a whole 6(!!!) months in advance) #jikookau
soon enough Jungkook had been seen with the actor all around the world. he had quit his job at the café 2 weeks into "the jimin incident" when they had wanted him to make jimin come back with more, well paying, friends. when he had talked about it with the other, jimin had been
quick to tell him he'd take him out for lunch and dinner and breakfast every day if he wanted. and while that had sounded like a nice life, Jungkook didn't want to seem like a freeloader. and since the other man had payed his rent so far in advance, Jungkook didn't need that much
money to keep living in his usual lifestyle. even after they started dating, the bunny hybrid couldn't stand jimin paying for everything. a relationship was supposed to be about equals, not about just taking and just giving. so even if it was just a coffee, Jungkook made sure he
too payed for one or the other thing. it didn't just make him feel better about the fact that jimin was obviously a millionaire but also about the fact that still, after all these months he didn't really get why the actor wanted to be with him. him, Jungkook, a bunny hybrid.
weeks turned into months turned into a year and then two. Jungkook had moved in to jimins apartment by insistence. "I need someone to look for my cat when I'm not in the country", the actor had said and while Jungkook had been suspicious, he still moved in. "just a few weeks" -
turned into two months and when jimin came back from shooting he had convinced his boyfriend to just stay. it would be bothersome to move Jungkooks things back and forth between their apartments. "you could just ask me to move in like a normal human being", Jungkook had answered
fondly and pressed his body against jimins, almost melting at the feeling of the actors heat against his front. "yeah.. well.. I was scared you'd say no", jimin had murmured against his lips. he had woken up the next day to a jewelry box on the counter with a beautifully shaped
key on a chain, it was wrapped in this really gorgeous turquoise paper he thought might be tiffanies.

//not only do you hold the key to my apartment, but also to my heart//

saying Jungkook had squealed like a schoolgirl was a gross understatement.
if anyone wondered. it's just a small gift. about 14k. nothing too fancy or anything ú.u
jimin had asked him to run some errands for him and Jungkook, feeling pretty useless most of the time without a job, had gladly jumped on the chance to go out and about. it took most of his day but when he punched in the key code at jimins apartment he felt amazing.
he stepped inside and immediately knew something was wrong. he was supposed to be alone till tomorrow evening and he was sure he hadn't left the lights on in the living room. quietly he made his way through the apartment, ready to bolt at any given chance.
he didn't want to end up like one of those pathetic girls on horror movies being like "hello.. is someone here", he'd rather bash anyone over the head who thought it was a good idea to break in here.

peeking around the corner of the living room he saw jimin sitting on the couch
"jimin?", he asked nervous and relieved at the same time. jimin didn't look well, kind of nervous, a little sad. the actor looked up to him and gestured to the couch in front of him. "please sit down... I've... I've got to talk to you", Jungkooks amygdala immediately started
working overtime. hormones flushed into his system, nervous jitters showing at his arms. "I.. yes.. okay", he replied quietly and came closer to sit down. one year, four months and 2 days, not that he counted, that long and this was probably over
with jittery hands he sat down in front of jimin, not daring to speak up. his lover, was he even allowed to still call him that?, looked to be deep in thought. Jungkook kept quiet. he had started playing with his ears, had done so since he was a child, since his hands just
couldn't stay still. "so.. I've... I've done some thinking", jimin started after a little while and Jungkook bit his lower lip. he always loved hearing the voice of his lover, loved how he said his name, how he fell into dialect with him since they've been born in the same city.
"I.. I thought maybe.. maybe this is all a little much. a little fast. do you know what I mean? yesterday I've asked you out and now you're living with me.. it's.. or maybe that's just me", Jungkooks eyes wandered to the ground. yes. this obviously was a break up talk.
"I mean... this is all... i just...", jimin kept gesturing around the living room, the living room Jungkook had helped pick out the furniture to, had decorated as good as he could. he felt so small, he didn't want to hear it. wanted to keep living in that bubble that had started
to envelope him the moment jimin had told him he loved him for the very first time. but it was always like this in life, wasn't it? you had a really good thing and even though you appreciated it, you didn't appreciate it enough and one day the thing is gone and suddenly you feel
this bone breaking, heart wrenching.. soul crushing feeling of everything breaking apart. alone the thought of jimin not loving him anymore made his heart stop painfully in his chest. he tugged on his ears, needing the sharp physical pain to counter the emotions that tried to
eat him alive.
"... what im trying to say is...", Jungkook closed his eyes as if he could stop the moment. ".. why are you crying", sudden panic overcame the smooth voice he loved so much. "Jungkook.. baby why are you crying oh God.. please don't cry", when had he started crying?
his face got cradled into two soft hands, hands he knew like the back of his own. soft fingers wiped his cheeks and suddenly Jungkook could hear himself bursting out a sob. "I... I'm sorry", he heard himself say. he opened his eyes and yes, indeed, everything was blurry
"what are you sorry for.. baby please don't cry", the bunny hybrid made a confused sound. he didn't know what was going on. "please... please don't leave me", he had always thought people who begged someone not to leave them as pathetic. and still he sat there and didn't see any
other way. "p-please don't leave me.. I'll... I'll be good. I'll change and I... I'll give you exactly what you need to b-be happy with me... please don't...", the hands left him and Jungkook watched in panic how jimin pulled back. a vulnerable sou d left his throat.
"what.. what are you talking about", he heard the question but he couldn't find any logic in it. what he was talking about? "you're leaving me. you're breaking up and.. and I.. please I.. I love you so much...", he couldn't explain what was going on, only that jimin seemed to
crumble a little. "oh my God. this.. no. baby no. I wasn't trying to... God im such an idiot", still bewildered the younger man watched on. jimin wasn't trying to break up? his fingers slowly closed around the key hanging from his necklace. "what?", a small, fragile word that
held every ounce of confusion he felt right now.
Jimin sat up on his knees and was properly kneeling in front of the hybrid now. alone this position he got himself into was unusual for a human. humanity thought of themselves higher up than hybrids. but Jimin hadn't ever given an
ounce of a thought about these norms. they were supposed to be equal, he had told him when hey were lying on the couch one night. Jungkook could remember as if it were just a day ago. in that moment he knew, if he wasn't utterly in love with the actor already, noe he'd surely be.
but this days jimin was still muttering to himself and jungkook was still holding on to his last thread of sanity. "what's going on", he heard his voice speak up and for a second he was proud that he could still talk at all.
jimins head came up and he grimaced a little before
hanging his head in shame. "I wasn't trying to break up with you I.. I was just... i came back earlier and I was sitting here.. and thinking how we've moved so fast these past few months. how.. how much you do around here even though you aren't supposed to.. and about how much -
I love you.. I couldn't live with you anymore. and still.. I thought. I hope jungkook doesn't feel like he has to do all of this, doesn't feel obligated to anything. I hope.. I hope he knows that this is a really big deal for me, letting anyone in.. figuratively and.. literally"
to say the hybrid got even more bewildered was an understatement. "jimin... what's... what's going on", he sounded unsure, still a bit wobbly from crying but the tears had stopped running down his cheeks.
the actor had the absolute nerve to smile at him cutely. sheepishly even.
Jungkook was having his early midlife crisis and jimin was looking like a little boy caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "I... i was trying to... ask you to marry me", the soft words uttered from those pretty lips hit him like a train. the amount of emotions bubbling up in
his chest was driving him absolutely crazy. he wasn't sure if he had heard it wrong but it sounded to him.. as if Jimin had said.. he wanted to get married? a hysterical laugh made its way out of his throat. there was anger in his belly, how could jimin scare him like that?
then there was confusion, why would he want to MARRY him? then there were a lot of not really clear emotions that made him giddy and angry at the same time. "you idiot", he got out of his mouth and didn't let the hurt facial expression Jimins linger for long, replacing the frown
on jimins lips with his own. "you absolute idiot", he muttered again and again till an affronted sound stopped him and jimins hands were back on his cheeks. "is.. that a yes or a no", the actor looked so nervous that Jungkook had to laugh once again.
"you're an idiot Park Jimin.", he spoke softly and slipped off the couch and into jimins waiting lap. "of course I'm going to marry you"

#jikookau
they were laying in bed together that same night all sweaty and warm, slotted together perfectly at the right places. "I wished I could tell everyone. the whole world. I'm the happiest man alive", Jimin whispered into the skin of his neck. Jungkook felt electricity run down his
back at the action, shooting into other parts of his body as well. he made a soft sound, a mix out of a whimper and approval. Jungkook had known that they couldn't tell anyone, hybrids weren't supposed to get married after all, still seen as a subspecies, as feral animals and
traded on the black market. Jungkook was one of the lucky ones, his owners had burned his contract, set him free and put him down as their SON in their wills. he knew he was one of those second generation free hybrids, situated well enough to live on their own but not appreciated
enough to get all basic human rights. these days, slave contracts for hybrids were frowned upon. hybrids could live on their own, get a job (even though not a really good one), and even live in a relationship with other people without fearing malicious retribution. but marriage
that was a whole other issue. and marriage to a worldwide respected actor like Jimin? yeah that wouldn't happen. he was still frowned upon at certain events his lovers brought him to. still looked down on when he visited the set. and a few times people had come up to him and told
him to stay away from his lover. they /knew/ he was just trying to get money out of him.

in reality they knew nothing. Jimin hadn't been the first person ever to be nice to him. but when he had asked him out, Jungkook had for one millisecond forgotten that he was a hybrid at all
when Jungkook was with Jimin, it seemed to be so easy. just like now. just laying on the bed, his tail pressed snug to Jimins groin and the older playing with his ears. one tiny hand splayed over his lower belly, drawing circles in his naked skin. if Jungkook were a cat, he'd
surely be purring as of now.

"I'm content as long as I can stay with you like this", he murmured to the elders words and turned around slightly to receive a kiss he knew was coming. his eyes fluttered closed and he was drifting off with his thoughts again soon.
his back hit the mattress and a body was pushed on top of his own. "how do I even deserve you", Jimins voice whispered into his ear and Jungkook couldn't help the small gasp that ripped out of his throat.

his back arched off of the mattress once they united their bodies again
a third time since the pretty ring got pushed onto his finger. "I love you... ah... i love you so much", the hybrid gasped against Jimins lips and soon enough he fell head first off of the cliffs. his legs wrapped around the waist of Jimins lithe body, thankfully taking what was
his. the resonating groan Jimins hit the space between his jugular and his collarbone. they stayed like this for a while, enjoying the warmth and the closeness of the other male. but once Jimin separated them, Jungkook felt empty. as usual when they did these things. "I'll draw
you a bath", he heard in his half slumber and the hybrid just hummed softly without really moving or reacting to his fiancé. he must have dozed off because the next thing he noticed were strong arms around his body, carrying him into the bathroom and slipping his body into the
spacious tub. a soft sigh left his lips once the water settled around him. he felt pampered right now, his favorite bathsalt, a nice soft lighting and Jimin who slipped in just at this moment. "I feel so spoiled right now", he murmured still half asleep once he leaned against
the other male. there were fingers in his hair almost immediately. "good" the actor sounded amused. a pair of soft lips fell onto his forehead. "then I'm doing my job right. my soon to be husband shall always feel pampered by me", the butterflies in his belly couldn't settle down
--five months later--

"you can't be serious", Jimins manager scoffed and leaned back in his chair. the hand holding Jungkooks own tightened up its grip. Jungkook sunk a little into himself. he didn't want this confrontation, he had told Jimin to just let it go. as long as they
we're together it wouldn't change a thing for him. "my decision is made", the clipped tone of Jimins usually soft voice let the hybrid shrink even more. "you want to throw everything away...your whole career! for a HYBRID?", the managers booming voice echoed through the room.
"I will NOT let you degrade Jungkook like that! I told you because we're working together for many years already. not because it's an option! my decision is already made ", the is stare he felt on himself made him shiver. his hands were shaking...he hated confrontation.
"I had hoped you'd like to be with us on that day. but consider yourself uninvited.", Jimin got up and Jungkook followed his example. politely he bowed a part time but only got a sneer in response.
--
if was a warm summer day, their most important people had found their road
all the way down to Busan just for them.
a warm breeze soft ly to sled their hair, Jungkook couldn't remember ever feeling so warm and happy before.
they were wearing Creme white tuxes, a gift from diors head designers, Jimins hair was back to blonde and Jungkook was so in love
soft hands took his own, simultaneously they pushed the rings over each other's fingers. Jimins blinding smile made him look 5 years younger. God he was gorgeous. almost he forgot his cue just from being in love. but once the time came he had found his voice.

"I do" - "I do"
