Taeyongs someone whos strong but also very fragile. Its a big part of his appeal in my opinion. His physical image makes up the bulk of his strong presence but when you really look into his interview answers & how he treats people behind the scenes you can see a much softer side.

He constantly reexamines himself. He never accepts just one answer or what people tell him. For someone with his skills and looks, it's easy to be comfortable. to just fall back on what you already have and just take things for granted, but that's never the case for him.

He refuses to be stagnant. he will go out of his way to improve because thats taeyongs strong suit. Even though hes an introvert he'll continue to push himself to socialize and make people feel welcomed because he refuses to be like his past self who was too afraid to reach out

the horoscope answer broke my heart a bit. Taeyongs a lot more fragile than he lets on and a lot of people tend to brush past this side. He's someone who gets scared and insecure quite a bit. i think he doubts himself a lot but he makes up for it by appearing strong for others

Taeyong bases himself on what he can do for others. he wants to protect the people he loves. he wants to be the rock bc that's when he feels the strongest but in the end of the day he's still a nervous boy. unsure of his place in the world. This is what draws me&others to him

how can someone like him be insecure like us? How is that possible? but god it is possible bc taeyongs fragile. there's nothing wrong with idolizing him but isn't it much better to see him as just like us? unsure, wide-eyed, and a bit bewildered?

i find it so endearing in a way. he has all these sides to him and the more you look into them the more you start understanding him a bit more. he gives us all these bits and pieces into his mind&feelings because he wants to be understood by everyone. that's his goal.
