As an artist I think my favorite part of “Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!” is the main trio and how they represent different aspects of being an artist

Asakusa is doubt
Mizusaki is passion
Kanamori is discipline
Asakusa is the doubt every artist feels regarding their work- is it good enough? Will people like it? Will I ever be satisfied with my work? She always pushes through these feelings and uses them to reflect and determine what she should do differently for her next work
Mizusaki is the passion behind every work of art- she wants to create art and animations no matter what. She wants to connect to others and have them understand how much of her very self has been put into her works. Many do what they do because they are passionate just like her!
Kanamori is the discipline- even though she as a character is not an artist, I feel like she’s a great representation of the discipline that’s a part of being an artist. Self discipline is an extremely important aspect of creating work; (1/2 bc I have a lot to say about my fave)
nothing will be completed if it doesn’t play a role. She pushes Asakusa and Mizusaki to do their best work but also be conscious of deadlines and parts of their animations that aren’t priority so they can have a finished product (2/2)
the series as a whole is a really great representation of the artistic process so I definitely recommend it! Please watch if you’re an artist yourself I hope you’ll appreciate it as much as I do
