I said farewell to my beautiful wife of 29 years who was cut down by breast cancer having bravely battled it for 18 years. These were my thoughts.
I loved her smile.
I loved travelling and having adventures with her.
I loved how she adored and mentored and loved our beautiful children.
I love how she was my best friend. Caring, interested, practical, loyal and totally dependable.
I loved how we chatted for 3 minutes when I got home and we’d lay on the couch and still touch toes after 29 years.
I love how she forgave me on our second date for accidentally hitting her in the head with a golf club.
I loved that she loved me despite my obvious flaws.
I loved Tine so very, very much.
