Fk it. An unnecessary thread of GOT7's cute little sht toward each other. Plus the topic of Lim Jaebeom, and the idea of art. It's all words, so prepare to read. But I won't be able to finish it all in a day. @GOT7Official
I wanted to make a thread for Jaebeom and art because of the continuous drag of his art for a long while, but if I make that thread, it'd be pooling over to GOT7 as a whole... so I guess this is the thread for everything Jaebeom and GOT7.
Jaebeom is not just a leader for GOT7. He's leading ahgase as well. He has impeccable timing when it comes to sns. He knows how to use sns as an artist now. Hence, he opened another acct. That account, def.cnvs is for us! Is for him to communicate as a leader.
His recent two insta story from def.cnvs came at such an amusing time that I'm surprised no one notice. The quotes that goes with it is to calm down fandom but at the same time telling fandom to be aware. One quote is telling everyone to be genuine. The other is telling everyone
that it's okay to be worried about this and that, because it would make us more aware and more conscious in what we're doing and it helped us moving. It's telling the fandom something. Jaebeom doesn't post 'random' on sns. Every post of his has a few purposes and meanings.
And if you take notice of the timing of these posts and the messages, apply it to what is going on in fandom, you'll be able to figure them out. He keep track of fandom just as he keep track of the whole group. And he does so in a very discreet and undisturbed way.
He's not the only one who keep track of us to see what we're doing and talking about. They all do, but he knows what to post and so they let him post and be their voices. He can't 'lead' using Jaybnow because it's now a professional account.
Jaebeom wouldn't post and lead the fandom if the rest of the group don't agreed with him. He is a very fair leader. And it's actually something that he learn throughout the years, especially after his injury. That injury is surely a blessing in disguise. It allow him to properly
learn how to lead. It allow him to understand his members and fully trust them. Before that he was micromanaging and it was a terrible idea. Because he was micromanaging that they butthead a lot. But afterward he understand that he has to trust them and their abilities.
So he takes into consideration their suggestions for everything that is important to the group and individual careers. There was a time that Jaebeom was very mentally drained, it was also during his injury and the year after because it seems like the group was not gaining
Anything. It was an era of insecurity, but I believe the reason why he was mentally drain wasn't really for him, but he was thinking of the members. He was worrying about what those members will do if the group end. They were still young in their career.
None of them, not even Jackson at the time was fully established and have their own route. He was worried for them because he knows himself that he has a way out already. It is only until recently starting from 2018 that he started to be more at ease.
And that was when they started their successful world tour, so he knows the group is doing well, but it got better when he saw that gradually each member is having their own thing to do that he don't have to worry about them anymore. He still does though lol.
This is because the relationship is passed the 'leader' of a group, it's passed 'I am responsible for these people future as their leader.' It's now: 'These dumb fks. Why am I assigned as the 2nd older brother?' Not that severe, but you get the gist.
He is taking his role now as an older brother instead of a high position in power. And from this position, he stops micromanaging and only wish the best for his younger brothers to find success outside of their home. This is true leading, when you don't try to top over someone.
Actually, when G7 was young in their career, they are very perceptive of each other and tries to help each other on variety shows, but because they were so young, so eager, hot tempered and also, they're all alpha that they butthead and their helps turns into 'savageness'.
It's because they're alphas, they would always want to up one another on many things. Even though the topic was simple, if one decided to diss, then eventually the whole group will get to it, they don't want to lose. They mostly wanted to help each other getting thru variety show
They didn't understand that that wasn't helping, that further aggravate another. An example would be the hot debate of Mark being quiet all the time, but the boys bring that up to talk. That is actually them helping him. They want him to talk, but they don't know how, but they
also know fandom talks about that a lot. They were very noob at variety. They see what others like, they will use it again. That is them doing that to help but not knowing that it could and did cause conflict. Eventually they learned the proper way to be 'savaged' but also raise
each other esteem, what we get now is a bunch of praises toward each other from them in the form of 'savageness'. They have honed this skill so well from actual communication off camera. And they do communicate outside of work, as we've heard the many fighting stories.
That is just them communicating, trying to understand each other better. They even told us stories on how they hang out together, outside of work and that other people were shocked they do that. They value and enjoy each other presence so much that they would meet outside of work
And if you think 'oh, just these few members, because so and so didn't attend'... Just because they told you about that event, doesn't mean there weren't others events. And this is about Jinyoung. I heard and read a lot of time how people don't think he's close to the members...
Well let me tell you. This boy, Park Jinyoung, is very protective of things/people he loves. He is very observant! He doesn't express them in words, but he does them in actions. So when he tells you something, or make a promise, he means it. And he will follow through.
Some of you said (this was few years ago too) that he and Youngjae aren't close....Just because they aren't affectionate doesn't mean they aren't? Jinyoung respect's Youngjae's boundary, he acts very different around certain member because they each have their boundary+
He noticed these boundaries and understand each member like different things and how they would like their interaction with him to be. He is very considerate of them. At the same time would jumped to protect them or defend them, as we've seen so many times with him toward
maknae line. How he defended Yugyeom when he felt that he was mistreated, and that was immediately too. Like the boy didn't care that he had to keep it professionally because he had a job to do. This is what I mean when I say that Jinyoung can get impulsive when it comes to+
people he loves. That Jaebeom and Mark has to keep him in check in case he couldn't stop himself and be bothered. Then that one time, just recently when Youngjae was sick and fandom went into panic when he couldn't attend the fansign. He was the on to tell the fandom to not worry
That Youngjae has 'them'(GOT7) as a team. If you read that again, what Jinyoung meant was, 'I am here. He has me, at the least.' And when Jinyoung said those words, then you should believe him. He doesn't throw words out just as a service. None of them would.
Okay...it's almost 3am... Imma sleep then I'll continue later. There are many cute little sht they do for each other that is not grand gesture, but it's more powerful and speaks more volume than a hug.
