Me at a Presbyterian funeral today and being served a Mars Bar and apple sandwich and everyone around me being like “What you mean you’ve never heard of them? Aw you’ve got to have mars bar and apple sandwiches. A classic. Always the first to go.”

Seriously? Has this always been a thing? It needs to go up on the Derry Girls blackboard

I mean, I did try one. On brown bread (White was available too) it was fine but I don’t think I was as enthusiastic for them as others in the room.
Then again, anyone I’ve met who didn’t try Football Special till they were an adult never seems to *get* it.
