My goal for 2020 is to write more, and I have so many ideas for practical, helpful, fun, important things.

I'd love to highlight a few of the little details, in-thread

This little fella was commissioned from Roger Roque ID, a 3D illustrator. It comes in two variants, depending on the color mode.

Notice how the image shifts when toggling between light/dark!

On articles and tutorials, you'll find a "Like" button on the right. I tried to give it a lot of personality it gets unhappy if you wander away without giving it attention.

A neat thing happens when you fill it up all the way

The homepage features this little generative-art doodle; points elongate and turn towards the cursor. Reminds me of iron filings + magnets!

Eventually, I'd like to have lots of little doodles here, and the ability to swap between them =D

One of the big reasons for this redesign was to give me a space to create in-depth technical tutorials, but also write essay-like articles about career development and remote work.

There are two separate templates, each focused on their respective usecase.

The internet doesn't have enough hit counters. Every article and tutorial on my site has one. For bonus points, you can even toggle it between "minimal" and "retro" modes

I could keep going, but this thread is long enough, and I want to give y'all the chance to discover some of this stuff!
