I know it won& #39;t matter much, but I just want to put an #artistbeware out on @TwistHound. They& #39;ve recently been approached about heavily referenced works that are nearly copies of @AshKetchumSays& #39; art. Even the owner of a recent adopt approached them about copying their own -
- character and had their comments muted. I commented on the same work and was chastized for not approaching them in DMs, rather than publically. So I took this to heart and approached them recently about another work of art that& #39;s another heavily referenced piece from Lonnie. -
- Immediately they didn& #39;t want to hear it. Even just talking this issue over, they continued projecting, rather than taking the similarities into consideration. They blamed Lonnie for being dramatic, deflecting the fact that the image was similar, which they themselves pointed -
- out without me even stating it. It boiled down to me being accused of harassing and gaslighting them, rather than offering a solution...which I repeatedly stated was as simple as revisiting poses or markings that are pointed out to be very identical. I won& #39;t get into DMs, -
- despite them now subtweeting about me and crying victim, when they& #39;ve been aggressive toward me from the start, but I& #39;ll point out the first work that was addressed (which they later changed in a huff) and their recent work which is basically picking apart pieces of Lonnie& #39;s -
- base just to change other parts so they can claim they worked "extremely hard" on original content. There are other stories out there that talk about how TwistHound has copied other artists when working on commissions as well. I don& #39;t have all of that information, but if -
- you& #39;re a victim of their theft too, please feel free to come forward and share your story. I& #39;m tired of artists with big followers using their numbers to stomp all over other people, especially black artists. This isn& #39;t just a simple case of coincidence. This is a popular -
- artist knowingly copying other people& #39;s work and using their position to avoid being held accountable. It& #39;s gross behavior and very disappointing. I can& #39;t support someone like this anymore and would like to raise awareness of someone who abuses their power and manipulates -
- the situation in order to claim anyone speaking up is acting abusive toward them.
Their first design and Lonnie& #39;s. The owner of the character& #39;s comment and TwistHound& #39;s reaction.

I commented afterwards, bringing up the same point and was told basically that it was impossible that the design was copied, because they were referencing a mood board, not a specific artist. When I shared a comparison of what designs/markings were similar and how the color -
- palette was essentially the same, just warmer tones, they deleted the original post (that had the comments stating the copied design), glossing over everything and posting the new adopt sale without ever acknowledging anything publicly.
I& #39;d been chastised for posting the comparison publicly in the comments and told that I should have DMd them first. I took this to heart, so the next time something came up, I DMd them to ask if they were willing to talk about a concern. They said yes, so I brought up the -
- heavily similarities of their latest base pack compared to an older base pack that Lonnie also used.
They were instantly irritated that I was mentioning the same artist and essentially telling me that unless it was someone else, they didn& #39;t care to really touch on the topic. The issue was directly copied elements from Lonnie& #39;s original base, but they continued to try and -
- justify themselves by saying 3/4 views are common. They refused to acknowledge that a simple change could make the image look less like a copy and more like an original work, like they continue to claim their art is. The majority of the conversation was them projecting and -
-shifting blame to Lonnie and later to me, claiming that I was harassing them and gaslighting...when I was just attempting to talk things out privately like they had asked for previously. I stopped replying and was later blocked, now being subtweeted and of course having the -
- conversation misconstrued in their favor. After all, their work is completely original, right? I thought maybe I& #39;d been mistaken. I considered that the images only looked similar, but were in fact two different works all together. I went back to the age old test and here& #39;s -
- what I found. For a completely original work of art, there are REMARKABLE sections that are directly copied with the slightest adjustments in position or line to pass enough not to be considered theft. If this is acceptable, I really need to hop on this train so I can profit -
-off other artists too! Damn. Anyway, I& #39;m sure a lot of people will scream and dogpile and defend them, because of course. But anyone else could help spread awareness, that would be deeply appreciated
