Been trying to figure out myself why there isn’t a song from the new @BTS_twt album being promoted as a single to US radio and outside of mgmt and the label waiting to see what song has the strongest streaming and sales metrics the first few weeks to decide wonder...

(Cont’d) ... if there’s a song coming out soon we don’t know about that will be the US single? Maybe a new mix of a song from the album OR a new song altogether. Maybe a new collab? Just a thought and I have zero data to back up the theory but it crossed my mind.

Another reason I think they’re waiting is that they likely want to make sure the next single has the BEST chance of peaking higher on the radio charts than previous ones (new record). None of the previous singles have become radio hits. They want that too just like we do.

Also. I know there’s a campaign which paints radio in a negative light right now. Be careful. Some stations or programmers may see that as a dig at them which could mean they end up even more resistant to playing BTS or K-Pop and reverse all the work the ARMY has done til now.
