Earlier this month me and a couple of friends booked tickets to Goa through @makemytrip for @flyspicejet. We paid the money. Got confirmed tickets. Cut to airport where airline tells us we can't fly because of a technical snag in MMT system tickets were never confirmed. 1/n
We couldn't fly. The tickets that were booked for return were also not working. Same issue. We ended up going to Goa via road and then coming back through another new set of tickets for another flight. I hate to do this here but now it has been over 2 weeks and @makemytrip has
Still not refunded the money nor they have told me when I'll get it back. The customer care people keep playing Office Office with me. Each time they give me a new tareekh like I'm Sunny Deol from Damini. I uninstalled @makemytrip from my phone post this.
Having said that, I do hope that my money is returned. For the tickets were fucking paid for but we could never fly. Everyone please help me get their attention.
PLEASE RT this thread. For the love of good customer service that @makemytrip has no interest in providing. They finally made me outrage on twitter. I now feel like a true millenial.
Update:
I've got a call from upper management of @makemytrip and they have promised the refund along with a compensation for the grievance caused. I hope they improve their service so that such situations don't arise. A big thanks to everyone who helped spread the word.
