I've been reading a ton of #Webtoons lately, so for no real reason, I want to share a thread of some of my favorites. All of the recs on this thread involve some amount of romance & humor & have something really cool about their art. Let me know if you like any of these too! 1/12

LORE OLYMPUS - my absolute favorite! The story of Hades & Persephone with humor and a gentle romance. Olympus is modern but the mortal realm is in ancient times, which gives the gods a relatable contemp vibe. Hades is a dark sad boi & Persephone is a sunshine girl w/secrets. 2/12

SUBZERO - addictive arranged marriage story *with dragons!!* Can an arranged marriage stop warring dragon clans. The pair begins as skeptical barely-allies but come to rely on each other in the face of political pressure and attempted assassinations. The art is stunning!!! 3/12

FREAKING ROMANCE - come for the color palette, stay for the hilarious bisexual mc who cateches feelings for her hawt otherworldly roommate & her sarcastic bff. Season 1 just ended & idk which ship I'm on. The aesthetics in this comic will clear your skin & water your crops 4/12

UNTOUCHABLE - clever, funny, & sweet. Vampires have evolved to steal energy thru touch rather than blood. This is a problem for the mc vamp because the guy she wants is afraid to be touched. If you like slow burn, this romance is for you! Story complete. 5/12

SIRENS LAMENT - sweet and gorgeous! **Accidental mermaid curse ** Friends to lovers, friends who stay friends, redemption arcs galore, and artwork that sticks in your brain forever. Slooooow burn but great payoff. I think the story may be close to finishing 6/12

MY DEAR COLD BLOODED KING - sizzling romance, action, twisty plot! In this court intrigue, everyone has gorgeous hair. The story has tons of clever twists and turns. The art is crazy good. Somewhat tropey but too good for me to care. 7/12

MAGE AND DEMON QUEEN - f/f romance, comedy, adventure. Mage Mallory consistently wins her way to the top of the demon tower because she's obsessed with gorgeous demon queen Val. Too bad Val kills her every time. Rpg-ish premise w/ hilarious characters & plot. 8/12

LET'S PLAY - sweet, funny, super slow burn. Shy video game developer Sam is crushed when a celeb game reviewer gives her game a bad review. Then he moves in next door. No one in this is what you think at first, but the friendships & banter are fun! 9/12

I LOVE YOO - funny, sweet, slow burn. This comic started as a hilarious contemp romcom, but has evolved into a friend/family drama. But I got invested & am here for it. Shinae is an utterly relatable teen w/tough circumstances & a big heart. 10/12

MIDNIGHT POPPYLAND - newer comic w/a super intriguing start and hawt LI. (google him!) Seems like it's shaping up to be a drama/ comedy of errors / romance between sweet writer Poppy and tough, mafia affiliated Tora. Can't wait to see where this one goes! 11/12
