Doing a 30 day challenge upcycling something every day.

Day 1 I repainted the frame on a table I decoupaged. Some of it has my hand painted art work. Cost £2 to do.

Share anything your doing from sewing/ crochet/ knitting to repairing, growing seeds etc
Day 2:

A key box was repainted. Mounted a card sent by an artist.
Day 3:

Washing machine dyes are fab for revamping your wardrobe. My fav is Emerald Green for denims.
Day 4:
Bought a tatty, chipped wooden bowl from @ReviveLeeds for £1

Sanded down. Rubbed in Linseed Oil. Total time: 25 mins.
Day 5: Reuse empty bottles & jars.

⭐Save loose teas in jam jars.

⭐Fancy sea salt bottles (£1.49 near me). When empty add a handful of dried rose petals to bath salts. Re- fill bottle. Best bath time ever!

Day 6: Revamped & dyed some clothes.

Table was given to me last year and in total cost under £3 to upcycle. Wall hanging was donated, repaired & hand dyed too.
Day 7: Back into Acorn Antiques staff room (my kitchen).
Used leftover paint from my table for top cupboards. Ceramic door handles 25p each from the market. Cost so far £3

Have a plan for the worktops 💪
Day 8: Kitchen worktops revamped.
Friend reckoned I wouldn't do it for under £40
Smashed it💪
One Paint in Dark Grey £12.99. Easy to apply & fast drying. Total spent so far £15.99
Day 10: upcycled stool. 3 hours from sanding to upholstering seat.
Recycled paint from @SeagullsPaint
Day 11:
Woodworking today. Repairing spindles to 2 gorgeous donated chairs.
Day 12: Tired old fur trims on boots? Knit rectangles. I cast on 70 & 56 rows.

Line top of boots, carefully not overlapping zip. Stich into position with a darning needle. Bring up a corner edge & stitch into place with a funky button.
Day 13: Clean brass with 2 equal tbsps of lemon juice & bicarb. Mix to a paste, rub in. Leave for 20 mins. Buff.

My cauldron. Over a 100 years old & it's got amazing energy 💫
Day 14: Fixed the chain on a pendulum
Day 15: Dismantled bunk bed frame used to create a coffee table. Base recycled paint from Seagulls
Day 16: Table covered with fabric left from stool. Finished with perspex which took forever faffing about with cutting & drilling.
Day 17:

Print from @lucky_budgie and pic above is my artwork done on cheap poundland paper & charcoals that were my friend's late mum's. And I think she'd approve that they're cherished and still in use 💫
Day 18:

Pin cushion made from Tweed swatch sample book a fabric seller gave me.
Day 19:
Go plastic free with homemade drawstring bags. Great for veg too. Easy to make and a fun project if you're home schooling.
Day 20:

Using up the last of my elderflower tea picked last midsummer. Benefits include soothing sinuses and flu symptoms.

Check out local foraging walks. Many just ask for a small donation.
Day 21:
Wall unit made from skip wood. Barely black paint mixed by @SeagullsPaint
Total cost £4.75 and now I've got joiners hands 🤣
Day 22:

Gave our upcycled table a makeover. Emulsion paint then waxed. You don't need specialist paints.
Day 23:

Got a unit from FB marketplace last year for free. It stank of nicotine when it arrived. Was a sorry sight!
Now my 'crooked cottage' theme is magickal 💫⭐
Day 24: Re-covered lampshade. First attempt and it's gone really well 💫
Day 25: Used up scraps of fabric from previous table & stool project. Bit fiddly matching up & now for the first time ever I've got 3 matching pieces. Fabric total cost £13 💫
