How to post comments on Chen’s Melon profile (you will need a Melon account!)

1. Search 첸/Chen on Melon, then click on the top result with his profile picture to go to his artist page.
2. Click on the window next to the ‘Talk’ button.

4. Write your comment, then press the green ‘등록’ button to post.
5. This message will pop up when your comment has been successfully posted.

1. Click on the 3 dots icon next to the play button on a song
2. Select the 2nd option (곡 정보)
3. The comments section will be on the far right, which says ‘댓글’.

Using the Naver app to go to specific articles:
1. Go to the homepage (see pic)
2. Paste the article link into the main search bar.
3. The app will then take you to the page of that article.

How to upvote/downvote Naver articles:

1. Click on the button showing the two emojis below the article title.

- The 1st reaction w/ a thumbs up says ‘I like it’ (upvote)
- The 4th reaction w/ an angry face says ‘I’m angry’ (downvote)

How to comment on Naver articles:

1. Click on the comment button (w/ the speech bubble next to the reactions). You will then be taken to the comments section.
2. Click on the comment box (says ‘댓글을 입력해주세요’) to enter your own comment.

3. After typing your comment, click on the green ‘등록’ button to post.

Naver comments have thumbs up/thumbs down buttons next to them that you can use to upvote or downvote them. Top comments are the ones that have the most upvotes, so it’s important to upvote positive comments to make them more visible, & send the bad comments down by downvoting.

You can use either the Papago app (this is generally the most reliable translator app) or the built-in translate function in the Naver app (the section next to the comment w/ a dropdown arrow that says ‘번역보기’) to determine which comments are positive/negative.

You can also leave positive comments for Jongdae in the Naver ‘Talk’ section.

1. Search 첸 or 엑소 첸 in Naver.
2. Scroll down until you reach the ‘Talk’ section.
3. Enter your comment into the comment box & click the green ‘등록’ button to post.
