i'm sure a million threads like this have been made but it's something that makes me really happy so i want to talk abt it !! also keep in mind the stigma around the lgbt community in south korea , that makes everything i'm about to mention that much more meaningful 
firstly , most of bts' lyrics are gender neutral and this is intentional !
they've spoken a lot about different kinds of love & always use inclusive language !

bts have promoted & shown support for many lgbt artists ( and their explicitly queer work ! ) such as kehlani , sam smith and more . they've also collabed w openly lgbt artists such as mnek , halsey , troye sivan , and sia !
namjoon promoting the song " same love " and saying that he enjoyed it even more when he learned the meaning behind the lyrics + yoongi sharing his opinion
taehyung said in a vlive that his favorite movie is call me by your name . the other members have praised other lgbt movies such as love , simon !

namjoon has recommended a number of lgbt books including confessions of a mask , a book about being gay in a homophobic society - and it's thought to be the inspiration behind taehyung's solo song singularity
one of taehyung's other solo songs , stigma , is also interpreted to be gay coded by many lgbt armys
they made the choice to make their bt21 characters gender neutral
there was even this cute animation about gendered bathrooms ! 
among many other things , namjoon mentioned gender identity in his speech to the UN ( which you should watch in its entirety , namjoon for president )

of course , bts constantly break gender roles , not only with their concepts but their makeup and clothing as well !

and finally , let's not forget when seokjin smiled at an army with a " lesbians love seokjin " sign
and when taehyung saw a pride flag with the bts logo on it in the audience and this was his reaction
