ok it’s time. i’m starting a thread of every time Will Schuester was problematic throughout the entire 6-season run of Glee. the journey starts today
S1E1 (1/2): Mr. Schue waited a measly 45-50 seconds to be problematic, when he simply walks by Kurt being harrassed by the football players at the dumpster. All he cares about is Finn turning in his Spanish paper. Offense #1.
S1E1 (2/2): Will not only keeps pot that he receives from teacher-turned-drug-dealer Sandy Ryerson, but tells Finn that this pot was found in his locker and proceeds to blackmail him into joining the glee club. Offense #2
S1E2 (1/4): Not learning from his mistakes in Episode 1, he once again walks by Kurt being bullied by football players at the dumpster, too caught up in his own self indulgence to give any thought to helping his students. Offense #3.
S1E2 (2/4): He does Gold Digger. Offense #4.
S1E2 (3/4): Will rubs chalk on Ms. Pillsbury’s nose, even after she says she’s not comfortable with it. Offense #5.
S1E2 (4/4): He asks to have yet another after school cleaning date with Ms. Pillsbury, even though he is married and believes he has a baby on the way (luckily she declines in order to begin a relationship with the formidable Ken Tanaka). Offense #6.
S1E3 (1/3): Will abandons his students because he genuinely believes his a capella hip hop boy band is his destiny. Offense #7.
S1E3 (2/3): Will lets a known child predator—who isn’t allowed within 50 feet of children—rejoin the band after finding out about his connection to Josh Groban. Offense #8.
S1E3 (3/3): He gets two students (around 16 y/o) to join his boy band, where they perform I Wanna Sex You Up at a PTA meeting (with Josh Groban in attendance). Offense #9.
S1E4 (1/1): Will tells his wife about Finn/Puck and Quinn’s pregnancy; information that was given to him in confidence. Offense #10
S1E5 (1/6): It is revealed that Will has also told Ms. Pillsbury about the pregnancy debacle. Offense #11.
S1E5 (2/6): Will gets Ms. Pillsbury to give him files of his former classmate, April Rhodes, even when Ms. Pillsbury makes it clear that she could get fired for it. Offense #12.
S1E5 (3/6): Knowing she is a middle-aged alcoholic, Will uses April’s lack of a diploma to his own advantage, having her join the glee club since Rachel left to join the school production of Cabaret. Offense #13.
S1E5 (4/6): April literally drinks in Mr. Schuester’s Spanish class, but all he tells her afterward is that she needs to focus on winning over the rest of the glee club members. Offense #14.
S1E5 (5/6): Ms. Pillsbury tells Will that April is a bad influence on the students and has been sharing booze with them. Instead of agreeing, he keeps her because he believes they can’t place at Regionals without her. Offense #15.
S1E5 (6/6): Even while knowing April is clearly intoxicated and nearly ran over Ms. Pillsbury, Will lets her perform for the glee club’s invitational. He even goes on to say that if she doesn’t go on, none of the students can. Offense #16.
S1E6 (1/1): Will makes Ms. Pillsbury clean the mustard out of his chin dimple like the little perv he is, since the only thing he tried (unsuccessfully) to clean it with himself was his little perv tongue. Offense #17.
S1E7 (1/3): Will blatantly goes against Principal Figgins’s orders and attempts to curry favor with the students now that Sue is co-director (and is a little racist in the process?). Offense #18.
S1E7 (2/3): After the glee club has been split up into whites vs. minorities, he loses all sense of professionalism and goes on a rage against Sue in front of his students. Offense #19.
S1E7 (3/3): - He literally says the words, “You’re all minorities. You’re in the glee club.” Offense #20.
S1E8 (1/3): He does Bust A Move (in bootcut jeans). Offense #21.
S1E8 (2/3): - It’s worth noting that Will performs Sisqo’s Thong Song for Emma in this episode. In any other situation, this would be considered an offense. But, since Ken chose it, I cannot, in good conscience, strike him for it. I am deeply sorry.
S1E8 (3/3): - He does, however, make advances toward Emma after this performance. He pulls her down on top of him and just lays there like a slug (not to mention the face caress at the end). Offense #22.
S1E9: Feel however you want about making the kids use wheelchairs for a week, but making them do Proud Mary in wheelchairs is one of Schuester’s most out-of-touch ideas of the entire series (even if it was one of the most fun songs on the season 1 Glee Wii game). Offense #23.
S1E10 (1/2): He does Endless Love with Rachel. Yes, he protests, but he still allows it to happen. Offense #24.
S1E10 (2/2): Instead of being open with Rachel about her crush on him (a problem he helped create), he does a mashup of The Police’s “Don’t Stand So Close To Me” and Gary Puckett & The Union Gap’s “Young Girl.” It doesn’t work. Offense #25.
S1E11 (1/3): Mr. Schuester decides it’s a good idea for the glee club to wear wigs and do the title number from Hair. He proceeds to let them perform it in front of a visibly confused deaf choir. Offense #26.
S1E11 (2/3): Car Guy Schuester compares his life to a Springsteen song. Fuck Springsteen. Offense #27.
S1E11 (3/3): He once again gets in a very public, unprofessional squabble with Sue in front of his students. Offense #28.
S1E12: Will implies that Ken scheduled his and Emma’s wedding on the same day as the competition so that Emma couldn’t chaperone. Even though that’s probably true, she’s getting married to another man bro lay off. Offense #29.
S1E13: Mr. Schue did SO WELL in this episode until the last 10 minutes. He tries to convince Emma to get with him (right after she was dumped at her wedding) because he literally just left his wife in the last scene. Offense #30.
Just as an aside, I’m also seriously getting worried about the sheer amount of pairs of bootcut jeans Mr. Schuester owns.
S1E14 (1/3): In Emma’s office, Will says he could just lean over and kiss her, and then the horndog actually tries. Dude can’t seem to handle himself in the workplace. Offense #31.
S1E14 (2/3): Will tries to get it in on the first date with Emma. Offense #32.
S1E14 (3/3): Fresh off the separation from his wife and first date with Emma, Schuester gives in to his primal desires once again and makes out with the coach of Vocal Adrenaline. Offense #33.
S1E15 (1/2): Will insults Sue’s hair twice in front of his students. Noticing he likes to show how big his balls are in front of students. Offense #34.
S1E15 (2/2): He gets upset that Mercedes and Kurt joined the Cheerios, even though they did it because he secretly refuses to give solos to minorities (actual minorities). Offense #35.
S1E16: Schuester’s actually pretty normal in this one. No offenses.
S1E17: Much to the chagrin of everyone in America, he does Ice Ice Baby. Enough with the raps dog. Offense #36.
S1E18: Schuester doesn’t get enough screen time or lines in this one to be problematic. No offenses.
S1E19: Will puts his own interests before the glee club’s and auditions for the lead in Les Misérables, instead of just letting Bryan Ryan (who is about to cut the club entirely) have it. They get in a heated argument and perform an overly dramatic duet of Dream On. Offense #37.
Also Joss Whedon directed this episode ?? Glee in the MCU ???
S1E20: No offenses (he’s not getting much screen time late in this season).
S1E21 (1/3): Will literally throws one of Sue’s trophies at a wall, destroying it in front if her and his students. Offense #38.
S1E21 (2/3): Mr. Schuester encourages his students to vandalize Carmel High. Offense #39.
S1E21 (3/3): He feigns romantic interest in Sue and provocatively dances and sings to Tell Me Something Good in front of her, with a plan to completely embarrass her and ruin her emotionally. Offense #40.
S1E22: Will asks Emma if she’s done the deed with her new boyfriend because it’s his business apparently. Offense #41.
At the end of the first season, Will has:

- 41 total offenses
- 1.86 offenses per episode
- A high of 6 offenses in one episode (S1E5)

Since he averaged over 1 offense per episode, he is officially considered CANCELLED for the 1st season by the SOC (Schuester Offense Committee)
S2E1 (1/2): Will works with Sue and orders a bunch of pizzas under Coach Beiste’s name to humiliate her in front of the football team. Offense #42.
S2E1 (2/2): Will refuses to let Beiste sit with him at an empty table in the break room because of his plot with Sue to get her to quit. Offense #43.
srry about the next few episodes there will undoubtedly be a lot to go through as we are beginning the John Stamos saga of glee
S2E2 (1/4): When Emma calls Will uptight he shames her for her OCD, and doesn’t seem to approve of her working on her problems with the help of her new boyfriend ? Offense #44.
S2E2 (2/4): When Emma’s boyfriend (Carl) asks Will to lay off her, he pretty much says he won’t be able to restrain himself. Offense #45.
S2E2 (3/4): Will buys a brand new Corvette to impress Emma, and tries to take her on a drive. The same car as Carl (but with heated seats). Offense #46.
S2E2 (4/4): Schuester decides it’s a good idea to perform Toxic with the glee club in front of the school to show Emma that he’s loosened up. A literal Britney Spears sex riot ensues. Offense #47.
S2E3: No Offenses (everyone is too sad over Kurt’s dad to be problematic).
S2E4: No Offenses. He doesn’t really do anything in this episode except give the duet assignment. But fear not, Rocky Horror is approaching.
S2E5 (1/6): Mr. Schuester seems genuinely upset that he isn’t the one helping Emma improve her OCD. He says that Carl is “winning.” ok bro. Offense #48.
S2E5 (2/6): Schuester lies to Emma about Rocky Horror being his favorite movie, and decides it’s a good idea to have a bunch of minors perform it in a school production. Offense #49.
S2E5 (3/6): Will uses Emma’s love for Rocky Horror to trick her into being his costume designer, just so he can spend a lot of time with her. Offense #50.
S2E5 (4/6): When Carl suggests that maybe having an adult man (himself) grind up against a bunch of high schoolers isn’t the best idea, Will attacks Carl with his eyes. Does this shit get your rocks off dude. Offense #51.
S2E5 (5/6): Mr. Schuester tells Emma that Carl was right about some parts being too inappropriate for kids, so instead of cancelling the show, he decides to play Rocky. The shirtless one in the gold underwear. Offense #52.
S2E5 (6/6): Will uses this opportunity with Emma to use her to “rehearse” Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me (he also gets shirtless in the classroom in this scene). He seems proud of himself. Offense #53.
S2E6: Mr. Schuester giving Beiste her first kiss seems a little weird right? Maybe it’s just me. Offense #54.
S2E7 (1/2): Mr. Schuester violates social distancing guidelines and puts the entire school at risk when he has monkey flu not once, but twice. Offense #55.
S2E7 (2/2): After Ms. Holliday takes his job, Will shows up and confronts her, attacking her for actually listening to the students and questioning her ability as a teacher. Offense #56.
S2E13 (skipping 0-offense episodes in this thread for the sake of conciseness): When Sue tries to kill herself by OD’ing on gummy vitamins, Mr. Schuester has no sympathy for her, and tells her he won’t feel bad for her. Yeah she brought it on herself but like ?? Offense #57.
