the term “snowflake” is ruining people’s moral compasses

some choose to take more offence to a person being hurt by racism and them calling it out, than to the actual racism itself

it doesn’t help that our PM is a racist, sexist, homophobic delusional liar who hates working class people, and when people like hopkins align themselves with people like boris, you know something’s wrong

hate speech is being normalised and there’s nothing we can do about it

country is divided because the views of people like hopkins (and increasingly mainstream media) create an “us vs them” mentality

that’s only fueled by retaliation from the groups they target

you’d think that the further along in time we go the less racist we’d become, but nope

makes feel sick that we’re in big old 2020 and racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia etc is consistently being NORMALISED by people in positions of power and those with prominent voices

and loads of people lap it up because it appeals to the supremacist in them

dave eloquently discussed problems regarding racism

but a large portion of the UK public sees more of an issue with him talking about these things and focus on that (and his brother, which has nothing to do with this) rather than the actual mainstream racism itself
