FROM WUHAN:

I've heard an interview with 3 Kenyan Students in Wuhan, COVID-19 hub, & ALL IS NOT WELL. Nkala (student leader) said that the lockdown is real such that they're more of detainees in their own hostels. Olivier who is 7 months pregnant requested an evacuation by GoK.

Kevin and his pregnant wife aren't allowed to stay in sch since its a rule —no families stay in sch hostels. The main challenge is that supplies are scarce and prices have more than tripled. When our commission asked for access, they were advised to rather bring them home(KE).

The bottom line is, our citizens in Wuhan are willing to risk & come home since life is unbearable. They've been indoors for 35 days straight and that they're yet to overstay there for roughly 40 days from now. Dramatically, govt spokesman Cyrus Oguna has downplayed it all!

The students have stated that they're in constant communication with the Kenyan commission bt the prevailing circumstances can't allow anything else to be done. An evacuation back home with extreme precautions would be a good idea coz literally, our people are suffering in China.

Moreover, they hinted that the information Chinese govt is disseminating to the world isn't what it really is on the ground.

May the good Lord interfere with our govt's thinking to bring our people home.
