Following the @humanz_ai thread I did on how to make some cash for yourself , I received lots of messages on how to : grow your Instagram followers. Here are some top tips on how to grow your Instagram followers , ORGANICALLY
Post high quality content : put effort in your posts. My advice is : get a good smart phone and a good editing app (Lightroom, Vsco, snapseed ?)
Post at the right times : if you in SA , your best times will be mostly during Lunch, and late afternoons (although this can differ from one account to the other). Turn your Instagram into business acc and u can see your best times.
Use a minimum of 4 relevant hashtags. Hashtags are a great way to attract similar account or accounts in your niche e.g. #Foodie
Follow people in your niche and engage with their content. A fashionista follows fashionista. Engaging with your circle

Ask your friends to Tag you on their posts - ( don’t be a nag tho ). Don’t force people to give you shoutouts.
Go live! I cannot stress this enough, go live and collaborate ( go live with your friends). Collaborating your live video is a great way to market your account.
Turn your Instagram to public : public accounts are discoverable! Only public posts appears on explore page
Have a Profile picture. Aim for a desirable profile picture. Preferably showing your face - with so many fake and ghosts accounts, people are always skeptical to follow.
Should you take a picture with a well known brand , tag them IF you like. They might repost your stuff on their social platforms. (Free credit / shoutout)
Stories are also great !! Stories appear of Explore page too - use cute stickers and color to make them look cool
Link your Instagram with Facebook and twitter : spread the media all around.
Post more often ( like once a day) . That’s one of the best way to get noticed. Some of your posts will get right at the top of feeds.
Last tip : stalk your favorite personalities (in your niche) . Check what they doing, their posting habits and who are their followers. Learn from that.
