Alright, we all know both are based off being in space and trying to save the galaxy, but I'm mostly gonna talk about the similarities of the charachters,,, not the story

Peter quill, hes a guy from earth who is now in space, he likes to litsen to music from earth and is the captain of the ship,

bonnie, Hes a guy from earth who is now in space, he likes litsening to music sent by his friend back on earth, hes the captain of his ship

Yondu, he's a bounty hunter sent to find Peter and return him to his father,

Drax, hes an alien from a destroyed planet who lost his family to thanos

Acron, a bounty hunter who his goal was to kill foxy, he's from a destroyed planet, and he lost his family to foxy/freddy

Mantis, she has antennas that can feel others emotion. she's also an innocent bean

Illoha, she has antennas that can feel others emotions and can read minds

Keori, I'm just comparing her to mantis because shes inoccent and her antennas have almost the same function

Rocket, was tortured, taken apart and put back together

Foxy, was tortured by freddy, taken apart, put back together, rebuilt, upgraded, ect.

Thanos, has destroyed countless planets, and killed millions. He's looking for a weapon of destruction to balance the galaxy

Space Freddy/bonnie, have killed millions along with their minions, have destroyed planets and are looking for a powerful weapon to destroy the galaxy

The collector, has a masive collection of items and creatures form all over the galaxy

Otso, a merchant with items from allover the multiverse. (And I wouldn't be surprised if he had a collection of creatures in the back-)

I'm gonna explain this one quick

Thor was floating in space after his ship was destroyed and landed on Peter's ship

Glubglub was chilling in space and found Bonnie's ship by pure chance
