imma rant about this whole thing
oikawa himself said that the reason behind karasuno being such a good team is bc they don& #39;t have a style to own up to and preserve, they are always evolving. shiratorizawa, on the other hand, does https://twitter.com/karqsuno/status/1229851287522594821">https://twitter.com/karqsuno/...

shiratorizawa relies on brute force that adds up. that& #39;s not oikawa& #39;s beliefs, going to shiratorizawa meant going against his morals. ushijima does acknowledge oikawa& #39;s skills as a setter, but he wouldn& #39;t have grown as such in that team
oikawa is analytical, he creates strategies throughout the whole game, his creativity is a big part of himself. hate to break it to y& #39;all: shiratorizawa& #39;s setter is there to bring the ball to the ace
you are allowed to call it pride, like oikawa said "dont forget my worthless pride", or vanity. i don& #39;t think for a single moment that it& #39;s that worthless, on the contrary, actually
he wanted to play in a team he would be proud of, being that team the strongest or not. he wants to get out the very best of every single player on the court, not just focusing on the elites
to put it simple, he wanted to defeat shiratorizawa, ushijima, with his six. the battle of concepts reflects oikawa& #39;s way of thinking. he wouldn& #39;t have become the person he& #39;s today had he gone to shiratorizawa, he wouldn& #39;t have been nearly as happy
thats it thats the rant
