not exactly what's been requested, but a small comment on this https://twitter.com/nosilverv/status/1229494196895129601
as a response to this tweet

now, i'm too hungover to be systematic and my methods are far from orderly enough to pass on in any meaningful way https://twitter.com/erin_nerung/status/1229481721260888066?s=19
but i'll take the hangover as a starting point to go about it: the veins in my legs feel slightly constricted, which usually follows from alcohol + coke. there's a slight discomfort in my stomach area, which i know is my liver being shot from the alcohol.
i know it's my liver because after years of dieting, i know exactly what STOMACH pain feels like. and both are extremely different from intestine cramping (laxative use). which is also different from uterine cramping, although the latter often causes the former
the end point/common thread here being the best advice i've been given on embodiment (from His dark materials of all places) - a boy's finger falls off, and an adult tells him: don't shy away from the pain. own it. feel every little detail of it

i apply this advice to everything
so more than advising any systematic method to approach this kind of experimentation, i'd say simply pay attention to what you experience rather than shy away from it. always.

it feels extremely silly to say this because it's extremely obvious stuff to me lmao
but i guess it's good to share, because most people really don't seem to have a decent grasp on where their various sensations come from

e.g. disgust response will have you shying away from the smell of sweat or bad breath, but you can get information from smell
having a baseline of what your body smells like gives you info on imbalances when they come - everything smells different after a bender, for example

or: i've been able to smell a throat infection a week before symptoms started to show
PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BODY

USE SUBSTANCES THAT CHANGE ITS STATE AND TAKE NOTES ON WHAT YOU FEEL
