Excellent use of colour! Plus cool "camera technique" pulling back away from the giant hero and through the crowd to the back where Deku is. The hero he is looking up at actually turns in his direction right when the camera puts him (Deku) into view. Interpret that as you wish. https://twitter.com/notsohumbleace/status/1228774891689828353
Yes, I'm rewatching the anime now. So catching up on the story is going to take ~~~even~~~longer~~~!!
That this looks as fantastic as it does is an amazing feat in its own right, considering how many characters are involved, the intricacies of their individual costumes, as well as the added colouring, and how close they are bunched together.

Tremendous work!

Good use of camera angles and accompanying sound effect(s). The anime really makes these scenes feel fuller.
The sound effect for the intermission cards is for whatever reason suitably sweet and a nice touch that makes this part of an episode kind of pleasant instead of the usual "get on with it" feeling. They're also visually striking in a very good way.
Very short sequence of mini-events that communicates a lot:
1. That the classmates do normal things like karaoke in this world of Quirks and heroes
2. That Deku lacks friends
3. High-tech and social media exist in this world & are casually used
4. Deku is a good boy

Oh yeah, Bakugo is a weak-ass punk. Can't even disintegrate a notebook with his explosions (I don't believe he'd hold back considering how dead-set he is on crushing Deku's dreams of entering U.A.)
Their voices here are perfect~
Izuku's is particularly noteworthy in that it sounds so soft and bubbly that it enhances the innocence and adorableness of the moment and makes it all the more charming for it~

Here's an implementation of a technique (that I do not know the name of, but for now I'll call it "brightening the background") in anime that helps elevate the material for more engaging storytelling (the light swelling sound effect here deserves credit too, of course).
And here's another one where Deku's hair is blown back as a wonderful metaphorical illustration that the video he's watching has blown him away (again). Again, little things that add up and give the characters and scenes more dimension.
In the manga it's hard to tell if Izuku's mom is happy or worried for him, though if you pay real close attention to her face in the panel you can probably discern it for yourself. The anime makes it a lot clearer.
Izuku drops his All Might action figure when the doctor tells him "You should probably give up." THIS IS WHY I AM TAKING MY TIME GOING THROUGH THIS, GUYS! STUFF LIKE THIS IS JUST-

The computer screen being the only source of lighting in this scene and it playing the All Might video (+ that accompanying piano music
) post-dream shattering shock is but one powerful form of expression used to sell the emotions of this scene.

You also have the heartbreaking reaction Izuku's mom and the crackling of Izuku's voice (through teary eyes)

Another really nice touch showing Mt. Lady covering the crowd as protection from the fire (and now the wind from All Might's Detroit Smash)

Imagine showing heroes doing hero things in a show about heroes, heh heh
The anime is really wonderful in its background art additions (red, white and blue works so well with All Might and is a nice callback to characters like Captain America)
Gonna try and cut back on the reactions now.
I like how the first shot creates a classic correlation comparison to All Might as an angel come down from heaven (the choir and music here supports this connection)
Horikoshi is not content with leaving explanations one-dimensional. There *has* to be more/deeper characterization behind them. (Thank you for your well-thought out hard work!
)

Good of Horikoshi to add an extra layer of reality by having severe consequences for inheriting All Might's power with an inadequate body. Also All Might gives the best 'Yes!' and thumbs up (don't @ me).
Want to keep my other tweets I did separately in one place, so linking them as part of this thread (having trouble finding them though, so the chronology might be a bit off). https://twitter.com/notsohumbleace/status/1229906728826871811
