Thread of fiction podcasts made by queer creators and/or creators of color
disclaimer: these are the podcasts I listen to, which isn't a lot, so if I haven't included yours it probably means I'm unfamiliar with it, so feel free to add the link to it under the thread!

let's start with @CARAVANradio. you like cowboys? have wet dreams about demons? ever wanted to bang a vampire? then this is definitely for you! great storytelling, wonderful music and a diverse cast, they've got it all!

speaking of demons: another product of @thewhisperforge, @bvmpod! it's a new podcast, and it's off to a great start! 90's kids will especially appreciate the vibe. demons playing in a band and selling wieners in a mall? you don't want to miss it!

another masterpiece from Whisperforge: @arsPARADOXICA. meet Dr Sally Grissom, a scientist who accidentally invented time travel. the cast, crew and characters are very diverse, the protagonist is aroace, also there are jewish lesbians and brown gay men. A+ representation

continuing the list of the Whisperforge shows because they're all great: @TheFarMeridian! Peri, a young agoraphobic woman, wakes up one morning to find out that the lighthouse in which she lives has.. moved somewhere. @EliLizzieLizbet and @DtCamJansen are a delight to listen to

if you're a long time audio drama listener, you're familiar with the genre called "capitalism in space but make it gay". @StarshipIris is a great example of it! delightful slowburn, diverse cast, and fantastic music by Jessica Best make it one of my top three podcasts

and of course, @pilgrimagepod! found family in space, where the humans are interstellar refugees, determined to go home. it would be a shame if someone were to prevent it from happening

there's also @WeFixSpaceJunk! two repairwomen travel from planet to planet, fixing things so the capitalist overlords would write off their debts (also featuring a charming wast cow princess, murderous popcorn people, anxious AI, and many other lovable characters)

next up is @OrphansAudio. I nearly said "if you liked [certain TV show name], you'll enjoy this", but realized it'd be spoilery, so I'll just say that this is a horror podcast about found family, humanity and survival. also there's a really cool soundtrack

and of course @1237pod! do you like stories about time traveling but wish they'd be more diverse? The 12:37 got you covered! a scientist named Nora takes... the wrong train. a high quality sci-fi show without a single cishet character? this is what dreams are made of.

and back to gays in space, @MoonbaseThetaOu! communication officer Roger records weekly broadcasts from a moonbase station, finishing them with a message for his husband back on Earth. in s2 we hear the other side of the events through each character's voice.

and the horniest podcast award goes to... @DreamboyPodcast. a fascinating story about a young musician, a boy whose body was a canvas, and ancient fish fossils (also it's 18+. I cannot stress this enough just how 18+ it is)

A few days ago I discovered @JanusDescending, and it broke me, but god, was it cathartic. a horror podcast about two xenoarcheologists on an dead planet.. which might be not as dead at it seems. absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking story

@dosafteryou is a new podcast about a trans man who's in love with a god. @dvd_orion narrates episodes in English and Spanish, and his beautiful writing makes the story sound like a modern fairytale.
