[BLEPP - A thread]

Made this planner in Google Sheets!
140 days til Psychometrician Licensure Exam!!!

((i have absolutely no clue how to schedule and organize my study routine for a 450-item exam in 140 days ahahahelp))
It is Day 2 and I'm STILL trying to figure out how to make monthly/weekly/daily goals. I was thinking of making my own class schedule (TTH, WF) with a syllabus for each subject. Tapos naka-schedule rin yung 'exams'. Parang UP lang. Pero pota ang hirap hahahaha
Day 3. My lola passed away today. I couldn't focus on reading so I tried to be productive by putting these up. 1 manila paper for each subject. I printed the chapter outline of each personality theorist from Feist & Feist.
Day 4. I finished the 2 chapters in I/O that I was supposed to finish today! Even when I did chores and took breaks. Yay, right on track 💪 ((for now))
Day 5. Studying on the road.
Day 6-9 (2/21 to 2/25).
I wasn't able to study because it was my lola's funeral and burial.

Day 10 (2/26).
I was able to catch up w my schedule! I did flashcards and mulcho questions for I/O and Psych Assessment.
Day 11-12 (2/27 - 2/28):
Wasn't able to review again because life got really busy 😓 But I got to ask a BLEPP passer for tips!

Day 13 (2/29):
I'm out right now so I'm reviewing this undergrad reviewer I made (thanks past me) for Theories of Personality (TOP)
Day 14 (3/1):
I think I figured out how to organize reviewing + 2 part time jobs + personal life. I just needed like, 4 planners lmao.

1. I use Google Sheets to see the Table of Specifications + My monthly and weekly goals.
2. I use Remember The Milk to plan the daily and weekly tasks I need to do for BLEPP, my two part-time jobs, my transcription gig, and my personal life (house chores, taking care of my birds and my plant, etc.) I take it one week at a time here.
3. I use Focus To-Do as my Pomodoro timer for each chapter I need to read so I get to take breaks in between.
4. When I get confused/overwhelmed, I use my physical planner to list down my priorities in order. Ryan suggested this system to me, and he got it from this book, "Eat That Frog" by Brian Tracy.
Day 15 (3/2): I finished Chapter 1-2 of AbnPsy.

Day 16 (3/3): I finished Chapter 3-4. I'm doubting my current studying strategy because of the uncertainty of my schedule in the next coming weeks/months because of my part-time jobs. But I'll do what I can.
Day 17-18 (3/4-3/5): I did flashcards for each disorder. Each disorder has 4 index cards: DSMV Criteria, Causal factors, Prevention (if available), Treatment. I put the name of the disorder at the back of each card so I can do differential diagnosis.

Day 18-19 (3/6-3/7): Rest
Day 20 (3/8): Rest

Day 21-25 (3/9-3/13): Continued the Theories of Personality reviewer I made back in college. I only did one for Psychodynamic theorists. For this week, I finished Humanistic/Existential and Dispositional theorists. Only Learning theorists left! :)
Day 26-27 (3/14-3/15): Rest, family time~

Day 28-30 (3/16-3/17): Studied Industrial Psych. Did flashcards. Wasn't able to finish one chapter per day. Progress was slow bec depression was creeping in again due to COVID issues.

Day 31 (3/18): pota tinatamad na ko HAHAHA T_T
Day 32-49 (3/18-4/4): so I decided to stop studying when the community quarantine was implemented. I was going to start when my digital review center started sending out materials. It was supposed to start on April 1. It's now April 4 and I have 93 days left before BLEPP. fuck.
Day 50 (4/5): holy fuck it's been 50 DAYS?!
Day 51 (4/6): I tried to review psych assessment but all I did was browse through slides. I barely got anything done. But, at least I started reviewing again?
Day 52 (4/7): Started reading Urbina. It's really easy to read and understand. My plan now is to just read books because I barely touched the flashcards I made lmao. But I'm still waiting for my online reviewer so I can start doing practice tests.
Day 53 (4/8): Started reviewing TOP through my online reviewer. I couldn't focus because I was too worried about COVID-related stuff (late salary, if the board exams will be moved, etc).
Day 54 (4/9):

✔ THEORIES OF PERSONALITY !!

I reached my goal of reading the learning theorists. I have officially finished one subject! Yay! Three more to go! 😊😊 Now I can focus more on I/O and Psych Assessment, which are my two weakest subjects.
Day 55 (4/10): I have to study I/O on my own since we didn't have a course on this during undergrad. I was getting overwhelmed tbh. BUT TODAY. I FOUND OUT SOMEONE MADE A REVIEWER OF THE ENTIRE FUCKING BOOK. WHOEVER YOU ARE SANA MASARAP PAGKAIN MO TODAY!

Day 55 (4/10) cont'd: I finished Chapter 7 in I/O! I edited my weekly schedule a few days ago and I'm back on track again. I/O is my least favorite subject bc I feel like it exists to just further propagate capitalism, but this chapter changed my mind a bit.
Day 56-57 (4/11-4/12): Couldn't review because of work, and I had a two-day emotional breakdown

Day 58 (4/13): Still too busy with work to study. Online review materials have been sent though! I read a bit of Chapter 8 in I/O
Day 59 (4/14): PRC announced that May/June licensure exams are postponed and that filing of application is extended til further notice. It's hard to review under when everything is so uncertain😞
Day 60-70 (4/15-4/24): 10 days of no progress 😞Not even sure if matutuloy pa sya since they announced the extension of the ECQ to May 15 today.

Imma ask for ur opinion. Should I still review for the board exams during a pandemic, when it's not sure if it will push through?
if it's okay, can i ask for your reasons why you voted yes or no? thank you ;_;
So baka tuloy na talaga yung licensure exam ng psychometrician this july. Nag open na yung online applications sa PRC website. I have less than 2 months to review ahahahaha i haven't reviewed properly since the start of quarantine hahahhah P 0 T A fjfjgjdkafndl
POSTPONED NA SYA YOU GUYS THEY JUST ANNOUNCED IT LIKE 30MINS AGO 😭❤ THANK GOD
