- Went to an interesting church this morning. Might try out one of their small groups
- Housemate moved in today and learned that she is also interning on the Hill
- All-around relaxing Sunday with no work tomorrow

- Saw some fantastic art at the National Gallery of Art (gotta love Monet)
- Paid $5.50 for a cup of coffee and realized that it isn't worth it

- went to a few briefings yesterday (one on housing and another on cryptocurrency)
- messed up extremely bad at work yesterday. not looking forward to today
- did get a “good job” from a supervisor on my African memo

- I think everything from yesterday resolved itself and I definitely got the message that the boss wanted to give
- Attended a briefing on the New Way Forward Act, and there is a lot to unpack from it
- Glad that it’s Friday tomorrow

- finally went for a long run today. The weather was perfect for running

- weather’s been eh the past few days but I did get drinks with a great friend last night. Brought a smile to my face
- have a debate tomorrow with a fellow intern about a vaping bill

- I received my first paycheck but I may have screwed myself with 41% of paycheck going to taxes
- bitterly cold today but excited to try a new restaurant tonight
- Friday work was fun with the Iran hearings and a random tax briefing

- went to a briefing today on anti-trust and monopolies. It was really boring BUT I got food
- going to a hearing for my boss on Wednesday!!! It’s on Haiti and U.S. policy
- also getting dinner with my sister tonight. It’s a good day

- Haiti hearing went really well!!
- Had a serious job/life/future conversation with a staffer. Hard to really explain my anxiety about it all

- Found out that the Congressman LOVES Ritz Crackers. Dude just took an entire sleeve from the box I brought in today (ty momma b)
- I am glad that it is pretty much the weekend.

- I ate pretty decent ramen last night and an excellent pork chop that I made tonight
- I accidentally ran 13 miles to Georgetown yesterday whoops. I felt great though

- I have no idea what will happen with my internship since people are teleworking. kinda nerve-racking
- I am thankful that my housemate and I have actually bonded over these last few days

here’s what’s up. I am still employed by my office as an intern though everyone is teleworking. That means I have barely any work to do. I haven’t gone stir crazy but I’m getting a little frustrated with it. Not how I saw my internship going. I don’t know what my future will be
