Idk if anyone else has noticed this. But, I was looking into old Qposts and read drop #22. This post asks "what former president used the military to save the republic, and what occurred exactly?" I researched different instances when a former president used martial law.
Abraham Lincoln imposed it and it reminded me of how POTUS always hails Honest Abe and has made many references of him. On September 15, 1863, President Lincoln imposed Congressionally authorized martial law. The authorizing act allowed the President to suspend habeas corpus"
Suspending habeas corpus allowed Lincoln to arrest prisoners of war, spies, or aiders and abettors of the enemy," as well as on other classes of people. The people who specifically administered justice was the military.
In another Q drop, Q asks us "what SC decision opened the door for a sitting president to activate and what must be showed?" As a result of the Lincoln's suspension of habeus corpus, a US fed court case occurred during the American Civil War known as Ex Parte Merryman.
This case challenged POTUS authority to suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus under the Constitution's Suspension Clause, when Congress was in recess and therefore unavailable to do so itself. The case was brought by John Merryman who was a plantation owner in Blt,MD
He was arrested during the sus. of habeous corpus and held prisoner in Fort McHenry and kept from civil legal authorities and the judiciary. The ruling in the case resulted in U.S. Sup Crt head, Chief Justice Roger B. Taney, that suspending habeas corpus lay exclusively with Cong
The Executive branch and the United States Army (under POTUS authority) decided to ignore the ruling. However, the specific SC case I found that Q was referring to is Ex Parte Milligan. On September 17, 1864, General Alvin Peterson Hovey, commander of the Military District of..
Indiana, authorized a military commission to meet on September 19 at Indianapolis, Indiana, to begin trials of Harrison H. Dodd, "grand commander" of the Sons of Liberty in Indiana, and others placed under military arrest.
They arrested many other people including other democrats and tried them for conspiracy against the U.S. government, offering aid and comfort to the Confederates, inciting insurrections, "disloyal practices," and "violation of the laws of war"
the defendants were alleged to have established a secret organization that planned to liberate Confederate soldiers and cause general insurrection, and join with the Confederates to invade Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky and make war on the government of the United States.
This was the ruling of the supreme court.
This case also clarified the scope of the military's jurisdiction under the US constitution.
In the Q post refrenced above, Q also asks us "Why Military intelligence might be used over other 3 letter agencies?" Well considering all of the Spygate MOABS dropping there is little faith in government institutions, and according to an article from Wapo dated 2/16/2018..
"Americans said a military takeover was justified if there were widespread corruption" sound familiar? POTUS has spoke about the massive amount of corruption many times and there is undeniable proof of it.
In other Q post, Q has said "it's all about the break" and has alluded to the break in congress many times. I just found all of this to be interesting and wanted other people's thoughts. @JuliansRum @prayingmedic @cjtruth @QAnonNotables @Qanon76 @RedPill78
