Happy Valentine’s Day to todoroki who’s on a date and sero who hasn’t quite figured that part out yet and thinks he’s just hanging out with his crush

Unless of course his dad uses the location tracker on his phone to see where he’s at and texts him asking if he’s finally found himself a nice omega mate, at which point todoroki would likely fist a hand in beta Sero’s shirt and haul him across the table for a kiss no warning

It’s rough at first bc todoroki is angry and determined and sero is just fucking shook but then after a second they start giggling against each other’s lips from shock at “did that really just happen?!” and it’s good okay

Sero being on the receiving end of todoroki losing his cool over his dad (like when he iced him nearly out of the stadium at the sports festival) is my fave trope for them, sero is just glad this time it’s warm and fuzzy instead of cold and icy

I like to picture their relationship progression happens in spikes, with weeks of normal behavior and uncertain pining culminating in sudden events like this, only for todoroki to apologize for his outburst with a wild blush on his face

and sero to struggle enough with basic human function in the aftermath that he can’t even question it
