Thread: TA is not Magic, The complications of TA are as follows:
1) you may hv levels, which recently get whipped more often than not.. are you capable of exiting each time & re-entering if lvl is regained ? you will take multiple hits if u do.. it may even so happen the loss 1/n
on hits may outweigh the actual profit you make later (more so in ST trades)
2) you may hv watchlist prepared for next day to buy/sell.. then comes a gap, ya u were right it moved but what will you do now ? buy/wait/forget it ? all these are your decisions not TA... 2/n
3) sudden news in the stks.. wham bam move.. no TA will not tell u what to do.. you have to decide whether to stick to your view or get out once.. if u get out it may recover fully.. if not it will slam more.. ya this is poss since operators have the pulse of demand /supply 3/n
happening.. if you hold & it still moves against u..then what ? this is your decision not TA..
4) your stk is in positive but mkt is slipping.. you wait for your target or take what u got ? this is your decision.. later it may actually hit your tgt esp if u exited.. 4/n
Keep in mind.. the smart money has much more data available than u to keep u dancing and not make a single cent but to rather loose money even if you were right.. Many such points come to TA.. but most will pretend they got everything hunky dory.. They create a rosy picture 5/n
which is illusive.. only lots of experience can tackle these probs if 1 is persistence & rational trader..

Roses are red, violets are blue
the rosy picture created by Twitter is far from true.. n/n
so keep all this in mind b4 you take you next training in TA (which all is freely available on net)

The learning curve is not how well you know TA but how well is your mind able to handle situations & circumstances.. TA is just simple feedback on mass psychology..
every bull run tons of people ask the same question..shud i leave my job & become a full time trader & my advice has always been the same since 10 yrs.. never !! ya almost everybody who did that had a good streak of profits for 1 to 3 yrs 99% of them gave up that & more at some
point later.. you hv a superb advantage of a steady income.. stick to it.. learn trading slowly.. try trades with theories you form over time by dedicating small % of your income to trading.. invest in good companies, then u will hv best of both worlds..
u dont hv to sit in front of screen to actually make money
