Thread about Michael Jackson’s innocence:
Firstly, the reason I’m making this thread is because I’m done spending hours arguing with people about this. I’ve been doing this for years (more so in the past 13 months) & it’s easier for me to do it this way. If anyone has any questions, please DM me. My DM’s are always open.
I want to address many misconceptions that people had so I’ll start off with those.
“Why would he pay hush money if he was innocent?”
It was not “hush money” otherwise you wouldn’t know about it! Evan Chandler (Jordan Chandler’s father) asked MJ to pay him $1mil before he spoke about the allegations publicly. MJ refused. Evan then decided to sue MJ.

The money paid by Michael’s insurance company was to settle the civil case. NOT the criminal case. I’m not well versed on law, but what I gathered from my research was that a civil case should not precede a criminal case. But this is what was happening (which is now illegal).
If the civil case had gone on & MJ lost, his entire defence would have been given up. MJ waited until the last minute to reluctantly give his insurance company the green light to pay. He wanted to go on with the criminal case but once the Chandler’s got the money, they went AWOL.
But before any of this had happened, Evan was caught on a leaked tape talking about his plans to extort MJ. Here’s the link:
I’d also like to ask, who in their right mind would accept the fact that their child was molested, accept money and then REFUSE to show up to court to put the alleged molester in jail?

The descriptions were based off of stereotypes (about MJ’s religious upbringing and vitiligo) but were completely wrong. You can see this for yourself in the court transcripts which I will link at the end of this thread. These lies were spread by the media.

This is another lie spread by the media. Possession of child pornography is a crime so he would’ve been in jail if it were true. Adult heterosexual porn was found. That’s it. And this is not a crime.

“What about the maid that had come forward & said that MJ molested those children?”

Anyone who says this statement really shows their ignorance with this one. There were tensions with race around the time of OJ’s trial. Improper mishandling of the infamous glove & other things meant he was acquitted.

The jury for MJ’s criminal case in 2005 (when he was acquitted of all 14 charges) where an almost all white conservative jury. He wasn’t acquitted because of lack of evidence, he was acquitted because of the lies. Which I’ll talk about now.

The biggest celebrity in the world at the time who had people living in his closet for days and people parachuting into his home having an alarm leading to his bedroom should not be alarming. All celebrities have alarms.

But since people ask this question, I’ll address it. That alarm actually helped MJ’s acquittal in 2005 when Star Arvizo said he saw his brother being molested in a place where the alarm would have definitely gone off.

That documentary wasn’t credible at all and I can’t count the number of times I’ve rolled my eyes when people have brought it up. How many lies does it take to make a liar? Saying you were molested in a place that didn’t exist is not “trauma”, it’s a lie. Recognise it as one.
